Jon just wouldn't like a band that's clearly trying to imitate and pay homage to his style. Read his interviews. It's not a hard concept to grasp.

I find Jon a big source of influence as well. I never got a chance to get to know him well though. I only got to see one of their live performances, and I never knew about Dissection before he was imprisoned. From what I've heard, he was very humble and accomondating to his fans and friends. His music has made a difference in my life. Is Dissection a well known group among those who lisen to death/black metal in China?
