I have an extra copy of the PSX Tactics if you can't find it on PSN. You're going to tear your hair out when some of your top characters accidentally die forever. It happens almost inevitably sometimes. Like within the first few levels when you're fighting a plethora of knights, archers, and mages when you may only have squires, knights and chemists or lower level advanced classes. But yeah, you should definitely get on FFIX. If you can find pictures of Memoria, or take pictures of them or whatever, it's nice to look at. It's a good reward at the end of the game... at least before you get dead by the harsh bosses toward the end.

Oh, you had to be an asshole and put the best FFVII song on. Making me work and shit. But there's no doubt at all in my mind that the FFVII OST was one of the best. It's certainly the most revolutionary videogame soundtrack of its time. As for my favourite gameplay-wise, it's a tie between FFIX and Tactics. Tactics hands down had the best and most involved story. FFIX was charming, fun, and had nice architecture.

IX is pure Nobuo, plus all the travels he made across the world to gather the inspiration. And Sgt. Pepper. I'm sure that was thrown in too.
