Ecoute le nouveau Novembers Doom, "Aphotic" et reviens me voir. Il détrône le Omnium Gatherum dans le registre death de cette année. Si t'ajoutes une prod signée Dan Swanö qui fout sur le cul (et je pèse mes mots), ça devient carrément jouissif...

Rooooooh ce passage à 4'00 sur "New World Shadows", mamaaaaaaaaaaaaan

Ce que je préfère à la limite, c'est l'utilisation TRES intelligente des claviers, des nappes atmo et des guitares lead sur cet album (rien que "New World Shadows" remporte la plame, "Deep Cold" pareil...), que la prod de Swanö met largement en valeur. Reste le chant monolithique du chanteur, assez boarf dans le genre...mais c'est une affaire de goût et ça n'enlève en rien à la qualité incroyable de cet album. Neeeeeeeed!!

Le pire c'est cet équilibre entre fureur death mélo et passages planants/atmosphériques. Putain d'album! Genre "Everfields" (raaaah lovely), "New World Shadows et son pont central de malade...les autres albums sont loin de celui-ci, j'avais déjà écouté Red Shift et Stuck Here...sans conviction. Bluffé je suis!

Graveworm is cool, but only their albums before 2004 (engraved in Black was the last good one) if you like symphonic Black Metal. Otherwise I also don't kow that many Italian Metal bands, especially no good ones ^-^

Czech Death Metal that I recently discovered. The new Album Communitas (Deconstructing the Order) is great in my eyes, they also use some different Instruments for the Interludes. The last album from them was a bit different.

It has some great riffs but otherwise it's not very special... Ithink the new Oblomov album is much more interesting.

For me, on one side, some songs on the Warriors album are a bit too long sometimes (too long for what they contain) and then, on the other side, I like it again.

I'm totally not into saxophones. It's the guy from Shining (Nor) who's playing on it, as far as I know. Blackjazz is not my kind of music. But who knows, on Ulver I likes the saxophones. I'll give it a try.

The last time I was in Poland there were abou three times as much Metal as Hip Hop Cds in the stores. Poland had always a strong metal scene but now it's swaping over the border...or hopefully it will. In Switzerland it's the opposite. Most of my Metal friends actually are from Germany and are living now in Switzerland. j'écouterai. Usualy I think Deathcore sucks. I only like Iwrestledabearonce because they're too fucked up and Horse the Band but they're more Nintendocore. I saw the two bands toghether with Despised Icon so I had to buy the new album because it rocked the shit out of the house. with every breakdown the floor dropped like a trampolin.
