thats great to hear! I really enjoy their first two, followed by Live in Deutchland and then Eric has a solo album of Bowie covers with his brother and then his recent solo album, A Thousand Scars is just a amazing musical return, so I highly recommend that one too. ✌🏻

seems theres at least a open-source alternative to Last.fm thats getting a little traction finally, so if the LLMs come for us then at least we now have (listenbrainz.org) ((and yes, it can import our histories here!)) 🙏🏻

Be sure to use the cool exporter that last.fm user ghan64 made to regularly backup your own scrobbles (mainstream.ghan.nl/export.html)...or, if you have the technical knowhow, you can host your own scrobbles with this tool (github.com/krateng/maloja) ✌🏻

I totally agree! The new Judas Priest album shocked me in all the right ways. I have massive respect that they can still produce music like this that can stay on level with their older stuff. I have listened to all of Satyricon, I haven't scrobbled it all yet though. I arrived to last.fm very late. I'm an old gal lol wish I knew about this place years ago.

It really is! It definitely deserves more recognition, but maybe there's a certain romanticism of the film being a hidden gem. Btw, it's awesome to see mind in a box in your library, I really should get back to listening to them.

Haha! What can I say, I'm guilty of romanticizing feeling like shit. But I'm glad you enjoyed it, I aim to please. Cool charts by the way, I love seeing Jethro Tull next to Katatonia.

That means you're old enough to remember how great this site used to be before the CBS buyout. *sadface*

Hey!!! Responding to your shout from a little while back finally haha. Deathcrush is def the best thing they ever did imo, I am excited to see the Lords of Chaos movie! Agothocles is like...amazing, if you like one of their albums you will like everything else. As for Haggus...I have no idea how that band ended up in my library, it might have been from my local Examiner days?

Totally agree about Deathcrush...partly because the vocals are just so insanely better on it. Makes sense about Haggus, but its still cool you had them in your libray; its like we are "Super" similar in tastes or something? :p LoC book was great, but the movie seems like it could be a big miss or hit. Let me know what you think whenever you see it! Also, seriously...when is the next burger party :D

I'm with you there, Maniac is just insane on the EP. Dead was a bit on the generic side and Atilla might have been better utilized elsewhere. The book was a huge influence on me, despite being sensationalized it taught me how to appriciate art with more attention to its intentions and influences. Even if it just really was a bunch of asshole homophobic/racist kids they somehow made some of the best music ever. I am def intrigued to see how it will translate. Next burger orgy will likely be in the spring, it has been rediculously cold lately. I think we will all be doing something more indoorsy soon tho! I will pm you my number

Hi there, I think that shout of mine on "Burn" must be a few years old... I did check out Bloodflowers since then, but it was not really my cup of tea (with the exception of a few songs). I've heard of Otto Dix, but never listened to anything of his. If it's anything like synthpop, I have mostly moved away from that genre in the past couple years, preferring more rhythmic and upbeat music. You could say it's a change in personality!
