I DL'd the Elder album, and am listening to it now. *loving* All That Is Heavy is a great site. But, I often will find albums I want to check out from there and then compare the cost against ordering from Amazon. Often Amazon is selling for less, especially if you opt for a used CD (which I do a lot...I get more music for my money that way). Of course no one beats All That Is Heavy's selection. Sometimes that's the only place to find a certain album. Especially if they are on the newer side.

I saw that movie a long time ago, and yes it does have lot's of twists. Cameron Crow (the director) is a huge music enthusiast so there is always cool music attached to his flicks. Another one by him that is actually a better movie is Almost Famous. I like a lot of different music...but I have some bands and styles that I never get tired of. I have not checked out Scott Reeder's album yet.

Yeah, maybe it's a little easier for you writing on the internet, but I find most people write, as they speak. Maybe it's different when it's a second language though? Anyway, you're doing great! You have proper spelling, grammar, tense, tone, even slang. It's not always easy to capture all that in writing. We have a a pretty good concert schedule through the state in the summer, and yes I have a large collection of CD's. I can't find everything I want though...some stuff is out of print, or an import for me and expensive. So, don't be jealous. lol

Yes, it's my only language (which is just lazy on my part). What about you? English is your second language? If so, I have to tell you that you are quite fluent! I've never been to Poland, so I can't say if you should envy me in California or not. I do like it here though. : )

Truckfighters, Down, COC...love those bands too. Although I like the entire Kyuss discography, I'd put Blues For The Red Sun, and Welcome To Sky Valley up at the top. Would you as well? Let me know what you think of Red Fang. : ) They are a featured band on my site so you could read about, and /listen to them there if you'd like. If you decide to join the site, keep your same (great) user name.

Most of the stoner bands work for me. Many cross over into other styles too combining some elements of doom, sludge etc. All good. My ranking of stoner bands would have the all mighty Kyuss at the top, with maybe Dozer and Orange Goblin rounding out my top 3. Have you listened to Red Fang? A newer hard rock/stoner band from the pacific northwest here in the states. If you're into music discussion, and discovering new bands you should join my website. Your music taste makes you a perfect match for it. www.hardrockrevolution.com

I was introduced to Dozer on that Unida split, and I loved them immediately...so that's a "first" favorite. I have since collected everything they ever recorded...including all the other splits. Call It Conspiracy and Through the Eyes of Heathens are both great, but I also like the first two albums quite a bit. Do I rank Beyond Colossal at the top...maybe. I listened to that a lot while I was searching for the back catalog. Hard to really rank albums from a band that fires on all cylinders like they do!

"Fuck you Mr. Homme!"...have you ever been on a concert of qotsa enjoying a 20minutes version of "you can't quit me baby"? do know any tracks of qotsa except no one knows, little sister or go with the flow? it s not about stoner (although they have a lot of stoner tracks), it s about music and qotsa is a band, which has one of the biggest music variety i know. while garcia trys to copy kyuss with slo burn, unida, ....and now on tour with kyuss lives (-->i love them also) josh trys something new...and only because they have more fans, they aren't mainstream. check them out live, they play even more than no one knows and little sister...josh has it, he feels it and i fuckin can play his guitar! free your mind for psychdellica, simple rock and some girlie-metal ;-)

"It's obviously not a stoner rock. It's a goddamn rock-wannabe alternative. Indeed they have few good ideas and skilled musicians but c'mon you can see by most of listeners for what audience the music is made. Fuck you Mr. Homme :) "....ignorant, arogant and stupid comment...169 artists in your charts and you think you have THE idea about music especially about stoner...get your head free dude!

fuck yeah! man i was listening the remastered version of "Alice in Hell" today, and i agree! WAters really had a death metal vocal style in those demos and they sound really aggressive! Its sad that then in the album the powerful sound fades away, something similar happens with "The Mechanix" of Megadeth! killer classic but the demo sounds super BRUTAL.btw listening to Artillery's "Terror Squad"? do you like it?

mmh does he buy them online? cos there are cool shops from Germany that sell stuff online and its great, they have things that you cant find anywhere else. So you have the remastered version of Exumer's Possessed by Fire? the demos are kiLLER! "Scanners" ,what a great song i cant get enough of thrash either
