I don't HAVE to take them this summer, but I want to take more than one class (since I'm not employed, don't have a social life, and am at least a year and a half behind in my education) and everything else doesn't work with my major or is scheduled for the same time as Twentieth Century Art Theory and Criticism. I mean, I'm considering dropping 20th to take Contemporary Issues in Painting and Drawing, which will allow me to sign up for the M/W 8:30-4:50 Foundations I/Darkroom I block, but 8 weeks to complete a bunch of paintings seems like a horrible idea... and I'm much better at cramming for bullshit exams/writing bullshit papers... sucks to be us, I guess.

BTW, you haven't taken any photo courses/aren't required to, right? I am pretty much having the big one right now because I'm looking through summer classes and everything available ruins my life. If I take the open digital class, I miss part of Pitchfork. If I take regular photo, I miss every free show at the Pritzker Pavilion + I lose Mon-Thurs nights in general. I seriously can't believe that I have to choose between such horrible options. God damn Columbia for not taking my photography credits.
