I totally agree with you about Pavement, that's why I love them too :) You explain it just right! Your story also reminds me of Blur, I'm a big fan of them, they make really intelligent music too and also represent the middle-class. But you have to listen to the right albums, because they made also two bad albums. Do you know them?:) And what do you think of Arcade Fire? I think that you also can compare them to Pavement a little bit, especially their last album. I've seen that movie, and altough I didn't understand it fully because of my English, there was such a special atmosphere, that feeling I think a lot of us have today. I think you're right about the VW-Pavement comparison. But I think I was not enough into Vampire Weekend the last two years to say wat I think. And I'm not really into their last album yet. I like it for sure and I think it's really good, but somewhere there is too much thought about it. I'm sorry for my English, it's not my native language.

Thomas Pynchon, like David Foster Wallace, is one of those writers I've always intended to read but never have. 'Gravity's Rainbow' and a few others of his are on my Amazon wishlist :)

How funny! I was literally just having a conversation with a friend about how I absolutely need to read 'Infinite Jest'. I think I definitely will soon, but what with it being so long I want to get the other books on my reading list out of the way first. I'm reading 'Blood Meridian' right now. Have you read any of Cormac McCarthy's stuff? He's so good! I'd definitely recommend 'Oryx and Crake', particularly if you like your dystopian, post-apocalyptic fiction.

Just had a look, I haven't updated in ages. My favourite books are 'The Unbearable Lightness of Being', 'Oryx and Crake', 'The Road', 'Nineteen-Eighty-Four' and many more. I don't really have a preferred genre. I'm an autodidact and thus read everything I possibly can.

I went to leeds festival thursday and i came back this monday it was amazing it was also like a small holiday for me and boyfriend, but with awesome music also, i have to say crystal castles were amazing but the crowd were crazy i may have fallen over a few times but i was caught ;) Hows things with you? Hello there :) i havent seen the nightmare on em street yet but i gathered it would just be entertaining, but i found the 1st freddie film a classic just a shame they have to a remake of it :( i had a great weekend thank you coudnt of been better, the weather was lovely and saw friends so its all good! Going to a house party on weds for a friends bday at his flat so that should be good, me and my boyfriend were going to move in the flats but were stll thinking about the issues but the best point is that all his friends are lovely so they would be no trouble :) but money living there will have to be watched to pay bills :( hows your revision going? xx

Good evening sorry for the late reply my laptop has been messing up abit lately but hopefullt today its feeling better :) yeah the theme park was awesome! I love them so much and the thrill of the rides and i feel like a little kid when i go to them but its all good fun :D Well im off to a few gigs this year im going to leeds festival to see lots of acts, and other gigs are enter shakari, linkin park, klaxons, joanna newsom :) looking forward to all of them but got a few months to go yet which is a shame for some of them :( Been on an ipad today there so cool i think as they are so useful :) but they do remind me of ipod touchs but ill see if it grows on me! :)

Morning there :) Well castle is kinda comedy but id say its more drama, it does get you quite addicted to it if im honest so dont worry if after watching one episode you need to watch another. Hmm the O.C sounds familiar i think maybe one of my friends watches it but it does sound like something i would give a try so ill let you know what i think of it :) Watchmen i didnt enjoy so much im afraid it was just too over the top with fight scenes and special effects but maybe i should watch it again with a more open mind and maybe my opinion may change as this is what i do with music also, but with music i listen to something again with new ears but with films new eyes. Yeah i am actually riding rollercoaters today! Getting the train around 9 50 me thinks so i am up bright and early to get ready and ill be back home later on tonight :D

Dankeschön. Ja, ich finde für Radiohead braucht man Zeit. Ich bin ja auch erst ein Fan von ihnen seit 2007, wo "In Rainbows" herausgekommen ist. Da mochte ich anfangs nur 3 Songs. Aber dann hab ich mich dem Album "OK Computer" gewidmet, was auch einige Zeit gebraucht hat. Schließlich hat es *klick* gemacht bei mir Btw, das letzt genannte Album ist mein Lieblingsalbum von ihnen. Ich persönlich hab mich über Pavement noch nicht rübergetraut. Animal Collective ist auch so eine Sache, haha. Da weiß ich noch nicht obs mir gefallen soll, oder nicht. :D

Wirklich guter Musikgeschmack.

Well Castle is about a writer whos book are mistery and murder novels, and in the very 1st episode there is a real murder and then some and they are copycats of the novels. So he helps the police and detectives into helping them find the murderer, and then the main detective Kate Beckett becomes inspiration to him for his next book so he has to be on all her cases so it goes on from there :) its really good! You should check t out, mean there are flaws lke it can be a little cheesy but im still addicted haha. Ahhh the O.C im not sure if i have seen that? whats it about? Cowboy bebop i have heard of and i am going to start watching it soon! Yesterday was kinda a relaxing day for me but busy this weekend and next week so i am gong to make sure that i sleep very well :)

Oh also if you are into watching tv series i have been addicted to a series called castle which has only been over here for a month but has been out in America for a year, but i downloaded the 1st and 2nd series and i havent been able to stop watching them. I have now finished them and i am now waiting for the 3rd series :( also if you are into anime i would say Black Lagoon this is another series i have been watching and i love it! I have watched the 1st and 2nd series but the 3rd series only comes out here in japanese first, so im not sure whether to wait for the english version or just use subtitles :(

Aww well im glad it was a day to remember and you got beer and went backstage so everyone wins and you had a good time :) Yeah i love theme parks i feel like a young child again when i am there so its a blast from the past, but i have a few theme park trips sorted for this summer so i have fun days to lookk forward to. Those two films you mentioned are also films i love so i best add them to my list as i am silly already for forgetting them :( I went to see Prince of Persia last night wasnt a film by choice but it wasnt as bad as i expected it to be, there were far too many fight scenes and some of the special effects were over the top but it was an okay film but not a film i would of seen by choice. You have many plans for the rest of the week ahead? xx

Went to Alton Towers the other week that was amazing and next week is a good but busy week also as im off to blackpool and i love it there so i am very much looking forward to that! And with regards to movies i think ill give toy story 3 a chance as it might be better than expected, with films i like loads ill inbox you a list of films if that helps? I am thinking of going Alton Towers again soon so i have more rides to look forward to but first i hit the blackpool rides :D
