It is the concept art for Elza Walker from Resident Evil 2, technically RE1.5 since Elza was scrapped as a character

Didn't start scrobbling until 2011 on this account, but I started with Zappa and Mother, and now I end with them too. Huh. Even 8 years later, I guess somethings never change. :p :)

Thought of you today, when I heard Type O Negative's Creepy Green Light. ~~"This moonlit night Late October's swirling fog gloom." :)

One of my favorite things about listening to music, is there's always something new to discover. Whether it's new & recent music, or whether it's older stuff. There's always something else out there that you haven't heard. And, I find that rewarding. Especially when it is something older, and you say to yourself "How have I never heard this before?." Yup, it's true, I loves me some music, haha.

I got into an 80's metal kick in 2008 or so, and I listened to Carnivore there for a bit. I really liked them too, unfortunately I haven't really listened to them much since. But you know, so much music, so little time. lol How about you, what are your thoughts on Carnivore? Also, to put you on the spot a bit, what are your top 5 Type O Negative songs? I'd say mine would be Christian Woman, Black No. 1, Too Late, Love You to Death and Dead Again.

Yeah, it definitely should still be a good album. They've all spent years with their other projects in between FNM breaking up and reuniting, plus the year or year and a half working on new material, like you said. I see you're also a big fan of Type O Negative, that's awesome, I must've missed that earlier. A great band, with the intensity of a punk band, the darkness of gloom and doom and yet mixed with an undercurrent of sometimes psychedelia and great vocal harmonies. Truly a one of a kind band. It's a shame that Peter left the world so soon, but damn, what a band they were!

I hope it is more inspired than oddfellows, otherwise I'll just keep listening to my old FNM records. Motherfucker definitely had the FNM song but it doesn't strike me as a song That I'll keep going back to. But in my opinion I think in general terms that when a band releases a song called Motherfucker, that it had too much of a novelty-ness about it and therefore I have a harder time taking it seriously or as serious as say the rest of the tracks on the album. Make sense?

It just seemed to be lacking creativity and direction. Have you ever watched the Fantomas DVD? Assuming you're into Fantomas that is.

What did you think of the most recent Tomahawk album, Oddfellows? Personally, I think it's mostly filler and there aren't any real standout tracks. Although, I've only listened to it about twice, so it could still grow on me.

A similar album to King For a Day would be good, or similar sounding. Album of the Year really grew on me though, much like most of Patton's projects. When I first heard Mr. Bungle, I just for the life of me could not get into them. But like all good music it takes time. Same as Tomahawk, I thought they were really boring at first. And I hated their anonymous album, but nowadays I love that one! Mondo Cane is really good too, after I first heard that album I really got into Italian pop/rock for a bit. His A Perfect Place and Crank 2 soundtracks are quite good too, although I can't say I listen to them a lot. Have you heard them? Also, I see you're a fan of John Frusciante. A bit of a random question, but there are two songs of his that I haven't been able to find an .mp3 of. They are "Scratch" and "Wayne." If you know where to track them down that would cool, if not, no worries. :)

New album around the corner, can't wait! What's funny is I never realized how important FNM were as a band until I started using sites like this one. For years I had thought of myself as one of a few FNM fans. Not until like 2007 or so when I realized their presence online and in the hearts of many worldwide.

I like their older albums with Hillel Slovak on guitar as well. They used to be less melodic and not so greatly composed, but they had lot more energy. There is no RHCP bad album for me to be honest :) I have a problem to get into 'I'm With You' though.

I can't just pick one album. Each is unique for me. I can only said, (not surprise) that best period of RHCP was since Mother's Milk till Stadium Arcadium (including both of course). I love most of John's albums, but I think Empyrean is my fav.

i just checked out zaraza. for some reason, i think it would fit perfectly in a black and white horror film on some really fucked up drug. i really like it, since it sounds new to me. and mark of the infidel really reminded me of godflesh, but just more intense. thanks for recommending them! im going to try to find an album by them sometime

oh yay, you listened to them. glad you liked it. i found that stuff in a video called "an introduction to avant-garde metal" i think you'll like more of the stuff on there. !TOOH! was really hard for me to like, i got one of their songs stuck in my head, then i just liked them for their catchiness, which is pretty strange. and dodheimsgard changes a lot, i love their old and new stuff. i'll check out the bands you recommended soon.
