Corinne Bailey Rae's "The Sea" is so good! Have you listened to it at all? Are you even a fan? I might be telling you to read the person you hate more than anyone. Also, can we get together soon? It's been way too long!

Haha, I'm sure if you mean, "Keep Me Hanging On," or, "Keep Holding On," since both are from the same episode! But if it's The Supremes' cover, don't tell Ken, he loves that song more than any other so far.

Weezer- "Blue Album" & "Pinkerton" Definite classics for me Regina Spektor- "Soviet Kitsch" & "Begin to Hope". Very unique style of singing Sufjan Stevens- Particularly "Come on Feel the Illinoise!". Huge musical landscapes & intimate acoustic songs. Very interesting listen. Matthew Good- "Underdogs", "Beautiful Midnight", "Audio of Being" & "Avalanche". Also a 2 disc best-of album called "In a Coma". The 2nd disc was acoustic reworkings of some of his biggest hits. SO AWESOME Death Cab for Cutie- I started as a Postal Service fan, but came to love DCFC equally. Check out "Transatlanticism" Doves- "Lost Souls" Brit prog-rock Portishead- "Dummy" low key trip-hop Raconteurs- Jack White goodness for White Stripes lovers The Shins- "Chutes Too Narrow" & "Wincing the Night Away" As stated in Garden State, their songs will change your life Tokyo Police Club- Toronto band. "A Lesson in Crime" EP is wicked USS- Toronto 2-some. Acoustic guitar and heavy beats/scratching fusion

It was not easy to find bands that I liked that aren't already in your top artists list. We really do have similar tastes in music. The following are a list of bands that are on my iPod, and are either really low on your listening charts (and I believe deserve more love) or are missing entirely(what's wrog with you? :P) P.S. I had to break it into 2 messages, and shorten my assessments of the bands due to character restrictions. Sorry for bombarding you with so many, but I think this wraps up most of my favs these days:

Hee hee, I luvs that song! For some reason though it makes me think of Charlie's Angels rolling around in swimsuits at the beach. That's the only album I listened to anyway, so if you have any favourite songs from other albums....... let me know! :P

I also heart that song. Ridiculous lyrics is either something hilarious or metaphors that don't really make sense all the time, I guess.

I guess that wasn't much of a rant - more like a love tap. :) Since we do attend the same school, I thought I would take it easy on you.:)

Perceives is a better word. Most of today's music is African influenced and that includes Rock and Folk. Slaves in the 1800s were the pioneers of such music. few minors changes doesn't make it "white dominant". Anyway, my apologies for the rant- I thought I would set the record straight.

I need that Wonder Woman icon. It would be better to have the icon. I can't imagine my skinny, pasty legs being exposed while wearing the Wonder Woman costume myself!

and OMG, Deborah Cox's "My Radio!" That was my favourite album in Grade 8. I listened to "Where Do We Go From Here" so much, I ruined the CD!

And I completely forgot about Imani Coppola! There's a song I loved from her in high school called "Independence Day." I'm going to have to give that a listen now!

I think it may have been the Sex and the City movie preview with the song in it that did it for me, and, omg, I didn't even notice that "The Heart of the Matter" was one of your top songs in the last week, otherwise I would have not said anything! Sorry!
