lol, how mono can be mediocre, just listen their discography (especially this album, One Step More and You Die, You Are There, Hymn To The Immortal Wind). When i feel yourself fucking bad, i always listen them, pure sadness, pure beauty, pure hope. one of the few good 3d wave post-rock groups

my comment: Aphex even not idm. If you take acid house bass, glitches, handmade synths and jungle breaks it will not be idm. Idm returned the ideas of the avant-garde compositors (particulary idea that in music the main role for self sound). Aphex twin sound very flat, his method mostly in mediocre explotation of sampler. More that, he main popularizer of industrial in idm (industrial is cancer of idm). I don't hear in his music amount, sounscape, ever beat have similar timbre that another beats, ever glith similar to another glitches, atmosphere he left on sel. ambient works. All "new" music based on fact that complex music doesn't exist,and that complex=/=with polyrhytmic syncnoped beats or with many samples or something like this. And generally (>>afx >>2014)
