It was Soundset 2010. It's a hip-hop festival, yet another hip-hop show I know, but it was a blast!

Good to hear! I've been staying busy this summer, only had a chance to see one show but it was epic. I swear I saw Diane Birch the other day in St. Paul it HAD to be her. If only I could've seen her nose I would've known for sure.

well their live shows are even better than their studio work. They do these energetic drum jams which pretty much everyone in the crowd gets into. Much like bands like: Ours, Mute Math, Annuals and 3. They are in a select class live.

maybe I'll see you at the Local Natives concert in October. Have you ever seen them before? And maybe more curious, have you ever heard their music when they were called Cavil at Rest?

Wow, we've been some of the same concerts. I saw Vampire Weekend earlier in the year, and Spoon, and She & Him. I am assuming that you were just at Basilica? I wish I could have gone. I am missing Band of Horses too, I was really bummed. But I really dig Wolf Parade, so I'm seeing them. Tell me, do you like The National at all?
