That's a pretty awesome library you got there! My list lacks dubstep, 2-step etc. because I only listen to full sets. I found alot of potentially good artists thanks to your profile... damn last.fm is the shit sometimes. Sooo many good dubstep artists... I can't breath.

sort of, there are still times when I find myself listening to the same 3 things over and over for a month though!

But if you're interested in a female 'doujin' producer, KaNa actually is a girl! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4VpyXbMKjUM I recommended the web-label Otographic music before, here's something from her on that label! There's also Flower of Snow that I uploaded, which was her first release on the Otographic label. http://youtu.be/VoJPpUIpLvc KaNa has produced some touhou arrangements which were okay, but I didn't gave them really a good look since I'm not really into touhou arrangements nowadays.

A few years ago 源屋 along with many other 'jcore' (I hate the umbrella term) artists used to dominate my last.fm page, if you check the overall listened artists, you will see they're still at the top with most plays. It's not like I dislike hardcore now or anything, I still listen to some once in a while, but many of the artists have kind of hit some kind of artist block in which the stuff they produce sounds closely the same, making it simply feel less nice to listen to. I know 源屋 has made some good tracks lately, but at this moment I have so much stuff to listen to that the priority is very low. I'm excited for the new Hardcore Syndrome 6 release, though! Also ordering kors k's new S2TB album. I usually like the other artists, such as aran, he has also made some really great stuff that were not hardcore, you should give those a listen! PS SHIKI is a guy, I think stereoberry is a guy too. There aren't too many female doujin producers, just singers.

Speaking about VAGUEDGE, I must listen to them again. I haven't really given that circle a fair chance seeing how I've only listened to about what, two-three tracks and then threw them aside. As for the track, I looked it up and I think you're referring to #3 on TUMENECO's album "現夢". Arranged by Hull and with *Ciel on vocals. If you're into "cute pop", try RegaSound. They vary their sound pretty often, but overall they have very catchy and "cute" tracks. I'm not very fond of it, but some of the tracks are pretty good which is probably the only reason why I still remember them. Not sure which other circles I can recommend though, need to check my playlists and such. Try TatshMusicCircle though, however overall they have very fast paced sounds and the majority is house/trance.

That's a shame, Metallic Vampire is a pretty good album and it has my to date favorite arrange of Remilia's theme. Some of the tracks are a bit meh, but works fine. As for Iron-Chino, I've never been a that big fan either. I do admit that some of the tracks are pretty good, but overall I think the sound is very bland and boring. A lot of the segments are redundant aswell, makes me go bleh over them. I do hope that MyonMyon keeps up with the rock/pop, the two latest album (Border of Sanctuary and Innocent Chain) are pretty damn good but she seems to not be an artist who likes to stay with one genre seeing how the entire discography is mixed beyond belief when it comes to metal/rock. Also, I should have added this in the previous post, incase you haven't tried it. Alstroemeria Record's "For Your Pieces". It's a pop album, very light and made very simple yet good.

syatten's track on fruited vagabond was rather weak compared to his usual work, syatten did release an album like last comiket though, titled 「Colorium」but it has mostly progressive house remixes of his 'known' tracks, still pretty nice if you dig progressive house, i guess. they're actually releasing a new album for comiket, syatten's track sounds really good on that one! I don't recommend endless dreamer or any of shiki's vocal albums - they are terrible. Really, the only albums you'll want to hear of shiki are: cristears, trancer doll's, rebirth+ (disc 2 only) and dramatic irony. he actually released a 2disc compilation called cristierra which pretty much has all his best tracks (for once it's actually 'best') on a single album. actually missing a copy of that since i got the former (almost of them come in dvd cases, really nice!)

xi sounds like himself in terms of i guess artcore dnb, void went towards the same direction in ad 180, though i probably like qurter's track the most in that one, i don't really remember as it's already been a while. i just recommend skipping on ad:150. thinkover. was pretty different, definitely not the style i dig but i know some people who do. works and works2 both have some decent tracks too. ad:piano was also very nice yeah, got a copy of both ad:piano and ad:house since they were from the same event. MM has done some more tracks other than touhou, but a lot of it may be a bit harder to obtain. he did have a nice track on the ridge racer arrange album imo, but it may not be in your liking http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f0j78NOQ4Jc i absolutely loved this track together with this on the same album http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F11Nqu8mhX0 sleeping beauty by stereoberry showed up on this album, you might as well give it a try! http://electro-planet.net/planets/

Soft vocalists huh, as in "female" rock/pop? Metallic Vampire from SOUND HOLIC is indeed an album you should check out, there are a couple of songs with... weird vocals to say on the album though but whatever. The album is pretty damn good. Pretty much anything by Liz Triangle with lily-an on vocals, rock with influences of funk and jazz. C-Clays has decent arranges overall, good vocals aswell but Mai likes her engrish. Border of Sanctuary by MyonMyon, very good pop/rock album with excellent vocals. Sally's selftitled album is a must, it's a golden album. Too bad that the two other aren't as good though. Yuuhei-Satellite tends to mostly trance/techno, but has pretty good vocals aswell. 回路-kairo- is versatile but still worth a try. Felt are soft, but they have terrific vocals aswell. Though I'm not a very big fan of them. Check them out, and if you like them I can recommend some more.

oh yeah here's BBR's crossfade of last release from previous winter comiket event http://soundcloud.com/mayaakai/chimaera-ep-promotion-sound to pique your interest. it's not all trance, though, just odikonic's track mostly, but maya's remix is definitely my favourite. BBR is releasing a single for this comiket, or so MAYA AKAI said on twitter.

RIGHT STUFF is one of my old favourites but don't seem to be as active anymore as a group. One of the reasons may be the relatively close ties they have with Diverse System nowadays as well as MAYA AKAI running another circle of his own with other people (Black Berry Recordings, which I highly recommend!). delights music and the linkup releases all have their hits and misses, their more recent releases are vastly better than the older releases, though, in my opinion, anyway. I'd recommend linkup remixside as well as house vol.3 if you're into house too. The other compilations have some very good tracks too, but the overall quality seems to vary. I only own the previously mentioned two myself, though. The albums I recommend from Diverse System would be: AD:Nearly 130, AD:Nearly 140, AD:Trance, AD:HOUSE and most likely the upcoming AD:TRANCE2 (crossfade sounds great!) Some other circles/stuff: 「Sorrow of the Islands Remix EP」 by YMBPR, stuff from Pinokiti Records, and Genetic Atmosphere

nhato actually released a solo album about a month and half ago, it's titled 「Etude」, it's a little different from the stuff I'm used to from him, but it's still a decent album. He also has some tracks and remixes on Otographic music (a web-label, not doujin, though) which has some excellent trance, progressive trance and progressive house. Sevensenses recording is another web-label I recommend for trance/progressive trance. I've uploaded the whole series (excluding albums) at some point in the past, it may or may not be available anymore if you look around, but they should still be available at beatport and such (for a price, of course.) Again, a lot of the stuff may be quite obscure and hard to get your hands on to. Unless you're willing to spend your own cash to get the releases, it may be very hard fetch old releases as well as fairly recent releases sometimes. But yeah, Diverse System is a good place to start nowadays. Wide range of artists.

generally all of void's track sound the same with the same kind of piano in every track, it's pretty good but gets boring at some point too, many doujin artists kind of 'suffer' this kind of fate, in which they overproduce until that happens and have run out of ideas. i've got his album altersist lying around unopened and and unlistened, it sounded the same as disclude in essence from what i could tell from the crossfade. as for trance, generally those who like void, also like Junk and syatten. also stereoberry's piano sounds like void's http://youtu.be/27lwSp3oQ_g personally i would recommend branching out to progressive trance, i can make more recommendations like that too. check out my youtube channel, there's a bunch of stuff from different artists on it. some of it might be quite obsure and hard to find though. i recommend trying the stuff i uploaded of satella, tiegel/tosh, lawy and maya akai (you seem to have heard flower fragments once at least)

it will get more obvious when you listen to the melodies more closely and hear the vocal works too (although they're usually all bad aside for the ones on 「Replicage」maybe) SHIKI's melodies are pretty nice but the synths started to kinda bore me after all these years. as for being everywhere, i get too hear that a lot, but it's mostly just doujin artists or japanese artists in general :)) oh yeah although no longer doujin for a few years already, maybe you might be interested in Sound Horizon? I think their album 「Moira」was pretty cool. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zzpRr0k8jNc you should give it a listen! (or a watch, this song actually also has a PV but the sound quality is pretty bad in those that are uploaded currently, visual stimulation is bad anyway)
