I wished him a happy birthday on Facebook but it turns out it was a lame frape so I looked like a dick, haha. I presume the same girl who fraped (ugh) him got in touch with me asking if I'd go down to his university (Aberystwyth I think) and see him/her as she was seemingly astounded with my chipmusic. This is why Facebook is ghey. I digress, so down to see Matt as well. It's Sam's birthday mid-April I think some maybe if he's doing anything we'll see each other then too. I'm free pretty much all of April though.

Beta blockers huh? Hope it works out for you. I've gotten a couple of 2:2s from last semester but the firsts sorta cancelled them out. Yeah, slackers have been pissing me off recently as you can tell, haha. I got in touch with Goater re: some sort of meetup and he's away the whole of April! He's having a BBQ May 1st if you're around, we should try meet up before then though if not (May 1st could be problematic for me), even if it's w/o Goater.

Yeah, the last few weeks have been pretty crap to say the least. I've had a load of those 10 minute presentations to do also, got firsts on all of them so far though! They're a bitch to prepare for though, the amount of work to do isn't quantifiable which sucks. And yup! bros > essays.

Maybe this is where I'm going wrong, I've ran out of 90's electronic/early emo to check out. It's good in a way because it's made me realise just how shit music is today. New AF is really good (better live though :P) and both Tallest Man releases this year are great, dig the album more than the EP but still good stuff. Maybe I'll have to go back with Deerhunter, I've tried to 'get it' but failed.

Yeah, 2011 might be a good time. Gives people chance to reflect on the record and truly evaluate it. And yeah for indie shit this year has been terrible. Arcade Fire, Tallest Man on Earth and National were good, I've failed to get the hype w/ Deerhunter and Tera Melos though.. just frustrating heh. As far as half-Italians go they are ok, still sucks though!

Trust me you should! Takes a few listens to get into but it's very good, one of the best albums in a dire year for music. My neighbours are starting to calm down though. I've also suffered 'positive discrimination' like you too, there's 2 other half-Italian neighbours... can't be a coincidence haha.

Well, I've been listening to How to Dress Well's new album alot, that apparently got a great review from Pitchfag, it's actually a great album though! Trust me though, I'd take your block any day over mine, they are good guys but being woke up every few days at 2am is shit. I won't don't worry :) My partying days are on the back-burner for the time being though ;)

haha, don't worry i'm going through a real pitchfork hype phase right now, that's undoubtedly worse because 95% of your time is spent listening to terrible music. just got off the train not long ago actually, haha. 1 1/2 hr journey though. Both my flat and course are good thanks! Real party block, it's difficult to avoid but I'm doing a good job I think! Workload is heavy though, 4 hrs work per tutorial!

yo nips, nice to see you've been giving high violet a few plays recently! i've weirdly grown back into the album, it's a good travelling record. we still got super compatibility too, haha. how's it going anyway? sorry i haven't kept in touch much recently, uni work is a major time/boner killer :(

I'd recomend them. I still havn't heard Casus Luciferi yet (which is meant to be awesome) I'd go with their latest album Lawless Darkness as it's brilliant. It's the most progressive thing they've done as far as i know. The final song "Waters Of Ain" is absoloutley amazing! (the entire album is really but Waters... just steals the show for me). I've got into black metal alot in the last year and near enough everything i buy at the moment is black metal. Although i am dissapointed as i got an email from peaceville records last night saying the new Autopsy EP that i had on order isn't going to be released now for another two weeks :( Still got the new Enslaved album to arrive and the Opeth Boxset so shouldn't complain really lol. I'm seeing the love your giving "almost famous" off the new Eminem album and i'm glad to know that someone else obviously enjoys that track off his new album. Everyone else i know preffers the softer side to his new album :-s

lol hey dude, yeah 5fdp are kinda high :-s lol they released both their albums within about 4 months of each other and i kinda just got sucked in. It's wierd for about six months i listened to them alot and then just stopped!? I think it's been mainly due to my upsurge in listening to black metal. I can't get enough of the stuff at the moment.

Awh - hahaha, you seem have to have missed out on a classic paper. I can't seem to find it online, though >.< And that's a fair observation, I suppose - I ended up singing (well, if you can call my pathetic warbling singing) along to Carmen, much to my embarassment XD Still, it is amazing :D And :O Don't tempt me to dig out my Anal Nosorog or ASHIAIP playlists XD I actually have an ASHIAIP vinyl, which is snazzy XD (It stands for Ariel Sharon's Head in an Industrial Press ^_^)

Yeah - I'm a bit like that with Chemistry - typically, that's what I want to do at Uni too XD But, we'll see! I definitely don't feel as though I've failed, which I imagine should be a good thing... And yeah - exactly XD That BNP question, and the one about 'True Sporting Spirit' were the most vital things you've ever done. And then, of course, there was that wonderful question about the woman who didn't have a c-section, because she knew God would protect her possibly-oxygen deprived baby... which was then born healthily XD Hahaha - I did something slightly similar at a point - I just listening to a playlist of Mozart/Bizet whilst doing Maths revision XD It was very therapeutic :D Hahaha - but I think that Brutal Truth were on the first TCKF, so that'll help XD Then if I get some Napalm Death, Autopsy and Katatonia plays in, we're sorted XD

Evenin' They were pretty good, I thought! And how epic was that second general studies paper XD That said, I shall not get over-confident until I've seen the results on that letter in a-month-and-a-half's time... How about you? And hmm.. I swear it was higher :S It's probably my distinctly mainstream listening of late - I think I needed something re-assuring during exam time XD No worries, though - the grindcore is going to resurface, largely because there's a new edition of 'This Comp Kills Fascists' out, which I rather want :D They're selling it in a fairly cheap Vol 1/2 compilation on Relapse's site, too, so I might but it after my Germany trip :D

Yeah you are right! My music taste has altered a lot in recent weeks, I'm going over to New York in December and heading out to see some hardcore shows with a friend over in Long Island so I really needed to brush up on some good hardcore and "melodic hardcore" that Long Island is renowned for, ha. I agree with you about Rohnert Park, clicks instantly with me but totes lacks the past-angst they had. Violence Violence had a few bits where you could just go FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK and you'd be singing along which sums it up nicely :) We'll have to meet up after exams too bro! my last one is on the 30th.
