Hey dude, how are you? Cool stuff, WoY are good. I'm not an expert on them so I hope the Agalloch I recommend is to your liking! My favourite is their first full length which is very Opeth-like and very much a Doom album. Very atmospheric. Their breakthrough album, Ashes Against The Grain might be better for an Agalloch-virgin, It was the first one I heard and fell in love immediately. The one before and after their first is also very good, but it's not as heavy as either of those two. Much more leanings towards post-Metal and experimenting with acoustics. their fourth and most recent was actually a bit of a let down, I felt. But I was comparing it to the others so I had expectations. Check them all out though man! Also, the EP, The White is STUNNINGLY beautiful! Not Metal, but still brilliant. :)

I feel the same about the situation here (Australia). Sometimes I want to move to Montreal or somewhere in California! As for C$C, I got lucky dude! I have a friend in Canada who WORSHIPS everything Todd A has done and I got a copy from him. I did however managed to trade a White Zombie CD for Release with another friend, and I tracked down a split CD (the one with Meathead) on eBay some time ago. From memory it wasn't hugely expensive, but not cheap either. :)

I'd heard that about 'Train of Thought' so figured I should probably think about checking that one out next. :) Just out of curiosity, whats your opinion on Octavarium (the album I mean). Seems that some of the songs seem to get a bit of hate here and there (e.g. Never Enough, I Walk Beside You), but I really can't get enough of it! Sorry it took a while for a reply btw
