Na I was always in Mumbai. Finished graduation and came to NZ in February this year for post-grad. And I'm getting done with this in a month, so yay! Let the real-world problems and dar dar ki thokrein begin. On a serious note though, I'm glad to have finished studying and can't wait to actually work again. I miss the indie scene back home a lot though!

DUUUDE, wow! I'd never heard a single name from the entire album and most songs are killer. Had no clue such a scene existed! Pretty sure a few of my friends are going to be pretty happy to hear this stuff, thank you so much! Stumbled upon this band a few days back, I'm hooked. http://vimeo.com/57158945 Also, Bombay 4eva.

Haha I didn't even notice it's medium! And wow you're only 17, pretty awesome music taste for that. A friend introduced me to post-rock for the first time when I was the same age and since then the world has just been a better place. Music sharing must commence for the compatibility to reach super. :D Oh and the song, its probably German cos that's where they're from but I have no clue. Here's hoping its raining cats and (cats and cats) back home. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1WKk_w0nbog

Oh, okay. I like Depth Charge Ethel, No Pussy Blues and Kitchenette from Grinderman 2. I've been meaning to listen to The Birthday Party too, but I haven't really gotten around to it yet. I'm listening to Arcade Fire's new album (Reflektor) these days, and it's pretty awesome. You should check it out, if you haven't already. Do you have any recs?

What is this? The Decemberists create loveliness like I've never heard before. I never thought I'd ever fall for this kind of music.

I'm really glad. My favorites are Modern Blues, Peter Pan R.I.P and All Dressed Up(And Ready to Fall in Love). What's the verdict on the other artist(s)? Did I include Penguin Cafe Orchestra? What you can do is, copy all that you like, empty the pendrive and give me your recs. :D Some good Movie, perhaps.

Yeah, it seems like Harvey's non-involvement is the main source of dissatisfaction for fans concerning the album. I never really got into Cave until about a year ago though, so I never really had the time to get attached to a certain line-up. There were just many great gems of songs waiting for me when I got around to discovering them.

Indeed. Now I want to watch it all over again. When I first saw it I was just coming out of something I can only call a Requiem for a Dream coma and was all obsessed with Jared Leto, but he was such a tool in American Psycho. It's very good acting but his character is still a douche. But, I mean, as you said, the complete amorality of what seemed to be the entire film's greed society really left no room for me to criticize on a moral level. It is an astonishing film. I've heard though that the director was just trying to drive home some misandrist agenda, but I think there's more to it than that. I think I'll give them a listen as well.
