Since last january Lastfm isn't available in most countries, so I had to move to spotify... I listen music through i-tunes and spotify but I didn't delete this account just to see my friends and my scrobbles are also registered, but I can't listen to any music through this site and I also finished my suscription because I didn't want to pay for nothing :-.( Now I'm rebuilding my library in spotify and use this tags to avoid mistakes ;.)) Here goes a short summary, you will have to forgive me but i have been up since 2 am British time so my mind is not as clear as it should be.... Who we are now is determined by our upbringing.... Some people are lucky to have parents who truly loved them and as such gave them self-confidence and self-respect, if you are loved as a child you will see yourself as a valuable member of society.... few of those lucky ones are shackled by feelings of self-doubt.Dare I say self loathing? I wasn't loved as a child and I grew up in a catholic environment where guilt and self-loathing was common.... i don't know if this still applies now. i don't know much about your background, is it similar to mine?

I have a facebook account but very rarely visit my page.. Too much hypocrisy and claptrap... I know people from work who can't stand each other yet are Facebook friends... Beats me... As the quote on my page on Last says, true happiness is not about how many people you have as friends but who will be there for you in times of distress or despair.... I have very few real life friends and a handful on Last.... people who have supported me and encouraged me when my life was hopeless.... These are real friends....

Good morning :-) Science has destroyed our spiritual side... I am not against science and in some cases science has benefited us.... Spirituality and science should work side by side in my opinion, I am 55 by the way... being " good " is a very hard thing to me.... I fail miserably every day but I keep trying.... And when I've done wrong, i will admit and say sorry and try hard not to do it again.. Self-analysis is not something, we do well :-)))

Empathy is such a rare quality.... Every time I see a person in despair, i cry.... most people laugh at me, but i am who I am.. I get used more often than not as people see my kindness as a weakness.... Gentle souls are very rare these days I guess.... if one has no faith then yes life is pointless and why carry on... I read most existentialist writers and agreed with their summary of life till my life was changed during a near death experience I had almost 30 years ago.... I know there is a God.... Who he/she is, I am not sure but there is life after death, of that I am 100% certain...
