Like I said, it was Super some months ago. Guess it's all the Japanese and hipster people you listen to now.

Your musical compatibility with Navy Cherub is LOW. All that effort getting it to Super!

I'll try sometime~ Is there an album you recommend starting out with or should I just go for it?

It's a guilty pleasure. I'll go, "I'll just listen to the first few songs," and then end up listening to the whole album.

Except Neutral Milk Hotel has a reputation for being indie hipster stuff but Jun A doesn't. But I'm kidding, of course.

Heh, that's basically what I thought. Whimsical? I don't know the lyrics for any of their songs besides obviously Magia(I've only played them in osu!, lol), but it doesn't seem that way. Unless whimsical doesn't mean what I thought it does.

I already know a couple of their other songs from before Madoka so I guess I'll check them.

Yeah it doesn't turn me off in that sense, I guess. I checked 9mm out in a session of checking a label's music out (the label in question is Zankyo Record which is pretty much my favorite label in Japan if that's of any interest), but I just like their instrumental/female vocal music so much more than stuff with male vocals that I ended up not listening to the latter much at all. Well, all in all ミドリ aren't the least popular Japanese band to be mentioned on /mu/, I have seen quite a bit of people from that place listening to them at least! Also, 9mm Parabellum Bullet are sweet, though I kinda like my rock with female vocals if it's from Asia.

Being tired is sometimes neat. I personally find everything to be a lot funnier. I once had this amazing experience after waking up: I listened to Spectres de Mouse and was mindfucked. Dem drums, man. All Things part 2 has some unbelievably incredible drums as well. I don't see any Mouse on the Keys in your library! You need more awesome japanese music.

If you play double bass IRL then I have much respect for you. We need more fretless and upright players damnit, they sound so delicious. Speaking of upright basses, I don't see any Special Others in your library. What's with that man? Reviere has all their albums on his mediafire, just search on the left. Unless for some reason you don't like them, in which case all respect is lost :c

You should listen to Florence + the Machine. I saw them perform at the VMAs awhile ago and looked them up recently and they're good, at varying degrees. Vocals are reminiscent of Within Temptation in the best way possible.

Hmm. Well, for a good compilation of his entire career, try the Very Best of Elvis Costello. It has a two-tone green and yellow cover. As for specific albums, pick up My Aim Is True, his debut release. I still have to give his other albums a listen, but I liked his most recent album, National Ransom.

Beyond awesome ending to that album. Lost in the World/Who Will Survive in America is one of the best album closers I've heard in a looong time.
