Hey I saw your comments about Witch-House in the Grave Wave tag comments... As a long time goth DJ, who tends to prefer older Goth/Industrial/Deathrock/Post-Punk, but also appreciate and spins (though not at Goth nights), all manner of electronic dance music (from Electro-House to Trip-Hop), I've tried giving Witch-House a shot a number of times, and have yet to find anything that comes close to what I would play for people to dance to. Of all of the artists I've heard tagged with that term they all fall firmly into my dark ambient/drone/experimental folder (with the added bonus of crunk beats)... basically shit I would listen to at home, but would maybe only ever play live in the first hour or so of an event. So I'm wondering if you know of any artists, or even specific songs that you would recommend for actually getting a dance floor moving? Though they aren't tagged with Witch-House, acts like Gatekeeper, Zombi, Kavinsky, etc all fit into my idea of house music, witches might enjoy.

... in Czech language "sysel" means: european suslik (or hamster ?) ... and "syslovo" means: "sysel is owner". It is untranslatable joke. "Syslit" (by folklore word) means: I want more , and more ... and more + I'm asocial comical creature in the hole. (with good internet connection of course ... Your stuff is in my computer now and I really love it )

It's fine and quite frankly I almost never bother to even respond to people on the internet because flaming and arguing are a waste of precious time. When it comes down to it, I don't care so much what people label me as, and I don't take into account opinions that come from invalid sources. But, I felt the need to defend my husband's position that it is a pointless genre, because it is in fact, not a genre at all. Other genres like EMB and coldwave, etc. are specific genres with musical elements that connect the artists, whereas I feel that gravewave is a confusing unnecessary conglomerate that has no clear basis of relation between the artists. I just don't see the point of it and I think it confuses people. But like I said, I don't really care, because people will say whatever they please.

I particularly enjoyed that track, I isolated it off the playlist for my own pleasure. I wasn't aware Lastfm was tracking it. It is good good

You know, I saw Adult live, and was very surprised at the performance. Nothing like the polished tracks I'm used to, as the vocals were delivered with a hard punk delivery. Imagine Nightlife from the gut. Not necessarily bad, but not what I was expecting.
