Aye, I just cannae hack the opening 'Oh-oh-oh-oh-uh-oh' bit, it's insanely annoying! Like all the cheesy, irritating bits of Zwan but somehow worse. But the bits that don't feature that are just about alright, lol! I mean I suppose it's a bit cheeky to complain seeing as it's free but still, maybe he just shouldn't be bothering! But with both of these songs you get the feeling there's something good in there, somewhere so it's frustrating more than anything! Anyway, rant over! x

Christ, have you heard the new Pumpkins song? Half of it is total shite but the other half is almost, almost, rather good. But this song makes it painfully obvious that this new child drummer is not a patch on ol' Jimmy! x

Hah yeah, I totally gave up on clarinet after I left school. I picked it up a few months ago and I was obviously dead rusty but I could still play a bit. I'm thinking about using it for some recording in the New Year but we shall see! Sounds like you're pretty talented if you could've sat Grade 8 though! Anyway, think I might listen to some Fionn and then hit the hay, have a good night! x

I'm glad I'm not the only one who does that, can't be totally weird now! Aye, I do a bit of busking up in Glasgow from time to time, it's good fun! You get some hilarious/mental people talking to you though. And £130?! I am envious, I make nowhere near that! I used to play clarinet in the school band but it's been sadly neglected these days. Yeah, new album's out in January? I'll need to grab it too! I love pretty much all of the Girls album, Hellhole Ratrace is my favourite, just explodes half way through. They should be awesome live, I'm dead excited but the tickets aren't on sale yet as far as I know. Hah aye, all of Disintegration is really good Cure stuff but it's pretty heavy going and depressing so I stick to the Greatest Hits most of the time. I always try to make a point of listening to 'Friday I'm In Love' on Fridays, never fails to cheer me up and I always try to go busking on Fridays so I can play it appropriately! x

Aye, it finally came through today, along with my tickets! It was a Fionn Regan double bill! But yeah, the album is a beauty, need to listen to it a bit more but there are already some stand out tracks. Particularly like Blackwater Child and Underwood Typewriter (which has some saucy lyrics, no?). And aye, SUPER! Yas, see you've been listening to a bit of Girls? Liking them? And you deserve a high five for Loving 'Picture of You' by the Cure. That's one of my favourite songs in the whole wide world! x

I've been waiting a good week! Bunch of scruffs from Jersey or wherever, takin' their sweet time. Aye, I will do, I can't remember the last time I've actually been excited to hear a new album. Helps that it's a CD too, feels old school. Hah, aye no worries, it's awfully far away anyway. Maybe catch ye for a coffee after Chrimbo though? Aye, it's good but it's still not exactly the same. I listened to Mellon Collie from start to finish the other night and it was still amazing. Still, I'm living in hope that the rest will be close to that standard! x

Ye ken I've still not got Fionn's album through the post? Not pleased but should've known with it being Play.com and that. Still, bought tickets to the gig last night so I'm pretty, pretty excited! x

Well, I agree, the EP is a bit meh but I got his album and it's alot better overall, give it a wee swatch! I'm more of a Carling man myself, well sorry, 02 (I'll never get used to that) but it should be good, as long as Issac doesn't cut himself on stage. Not a big fan of self mutilation, hah. It's my last week of Uni too but I've got a dissertation to do all Christmas which is very depressing. And last.fm is the worst for making me procrastinate so I empathise with your plight. Added you on Facebook by the way, hope you don't think me a scary stalker man! And now I better get oot the door and up to this gig! x

Considering you like big Fionn, I'm still somewhat surprised you're not much of a Bon Iver fan though admittedly, it irritates me that he's on Twilight soundtrack (even if that is irrational and snobbish of me). But yeah, Modest Mouse is my last gig of the year too so I'm hoping it's a good one! I'm sure Basement Jaxx will be awesome, I'd really like to go but I just don't have enough pennies which makes me all sadface. Anyway, I better stop rambling away I suppose! x

I thought about Camping from Thursday, but ended up doing fri-sun. Yeah I'll buy a bus pass closer to the event, dunno which city to leave from yet...I was thinking maybe Glasgow. Nice! I wen to T last year, and loved it. I'm doing a round-the-world trip, motivated by music festivals...not a chance I'd miss TITP though. Did you get a bus ticket as well? You camping? What are your thoughts on Kasabian headlining? I do like them, but I don't think they are big enough to headline a main stage yet.
