You like my name? I'm beginning to hate it. It's alright around danes, and any other form of scandinavian. But anyone else, I don't know if I should just tell them that my name is [how they're going to mispronounce it anyway], or tell them my real name, and have them insist on trying several times, despite them certainly never getting it. Also, spelling it is a pain too. If on paper, I just write the Ø, but what if someone asks? ...and most sofwares are a bitch to use with special characters, so I have to either put an O (which looks better), or put OE (which is more accurate). It's just so fucking complicated that I just try to avoid telling anyone what I'm called. I'm obsessing, aren't I?
