Thanks, hope you have a great 4th too. And, I'm definitely enjoying the new LP. A little short, as you said, but quality stuff. Personally, I was a big fan of the Thousand Suns album, so I like how this one seems to be merging the earlier style with the newer somewhat.

It's just hard to find the time to play it between kids and school and so on. lol But I do hope when my life slows down a bit I will be able to find the time to sit down with it again. You're welcome and looks like you have a pretty impressive library yourself. I've seen LP Live but it's been a long, long time (2004, I believe). I do agree they were very good live. I love your picture, btw. I played Alto Sax in band all the way through high school. I miss playing it all the time like I did then.

I just gravitate towards music that evokes a feeling in me ... I think you can find good artists in every genre. Often, my BF introduces music to me and I hate it at first, then I give it a few more listens and I might get into it. I have to hear it more than once to figure out my feelings on it :D

yeh u 2 wait u actually also listen to Apocalyptica and The Doors and Michael Buble too? Not that im that huge on buble but still. Apocalyptica was awesome last fall! i never miss megadeth and this year seeing sabbath, maiden, and already saw priest, its like metal rockers never die. oh the pretty reckless twice, small venue here awesome perf of 'just tonite' n 'my medicine', earlier opener for gnr. chill on.

I like a bit of everything, keeps me from getting bored :D

Hi there, I was just bopping around and saw your recommendation of Battlefront who I will have to give a listen to. That made me think that you or some of your friends may want to try out the band Therion. They play Heavy Metal with a distinctive symphonic or even opera style. The Lemuria/SiriusB double album has some good stuff with Abraxas being one of my favorite tunes by any band. Keep on rockin'! :)

If any of you enjoy hard metal with melodic overtones... influenced by sounds like Iron Maiden, Megadeth, and Anthrax- and especially if you're in the Inland Empire/Northern SD County in Southern California- Look up Battlefront and give them a listen. You'll be glad you did. I can still hear them hidden within the buzzing in my ears! LoL!
