wooooooo im in quebec city, and its classssssy as fuck! hows haligonia?

Blistering preeeee

Haven't heard them. Also, I like The Glow Pt.2 a lot, but it's a bit long so I don't listen to it much. Need to check out Mount Eerie properly at some point.

Oh, and 'So You Wanna Be a Superhero' by Carissa's Wierd might have the kind of sound you're looking for too - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51UWmRmJHl0

No One Is Ever Going To Want Me by Giles Corey has a similar sort of vibe and intensity to it, but you might've already heard it - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7hDS30qQl8c

No, I'm just trying to cut down on my internet usage so I can get out of the rut I'm in. So far it isn't going so great because my sleeping pattern is totally broken and I'm waking up while it's dark and going to sleep when it gets light, but hopefully I'll make some progress once I've sorted that out. And eh, not impressed. I was expecting better considering all the hype, but it just felt like a pretty average pop rap album to me. Well, I guess when compared to most other pop rap it's pretty good, but compared to other stuff, not so much.

True, true. Maybe DG is hip hop for people who aren't really into hip hop? lol

Pretty sick. Any other hip hop artists you'd recommend? I've not really listened to much outside of Death Grips. Actually, I listened to a couple of bands lately just before DG's new album dropped, which was pretty good timing on my part. I quite like instrumental hip hop, but haven't listened to a great deal of it yet. Anything similar to Death Grips' sound would be cool too.

yours pretty awesome too :3

da da dat super :O

That's cool, did you check out much of the pop explosion?

You from halifax?

Pretty great, but I don't listen to it as often as I should because of the length. Takes a bit of motivation for me to listen to anything that passes the 50 minute mark, haha.

whazzat

I think there's just the LP The Cold Vein. Low compatibility now wtf

FUCK YO COUCH, NIGGA

Haven't heard it

lol our shit isn't super anymore. http://www.last.fm/music/Cannibal+Ox

DIE LAST FM GNAR

:S

You died D:

Mineral's emo, Cap'n Jazz is probably something you don't normally listen to

So only bands that broke up before 2000? -Cap'n Jazz (started in '89) -Pavement (started in '89) -Archers of Loaf -Neutral Milk Hotel -Mineral

ENDING SONG IS AWESOME

I saw it on live stream. The vid will be up on monday I think, here's the audio: http://www.npr.org/2011/03/17/134532285/sxsw-2011-the-antlers-live-in-concert

You don't have the bonus disc on mp3? Don't get your hopes up, it's interesting for a listen but it's basically half ripped up Glow tracks, a quarter B-side-esque tracks, and a quarter noise. 'Where Lies My Tarp?' is fucking awesome though, it's also on Song Islands Vol. 2 otherwise I'd have to get the 3LP for it haha. Did you see The Antlers SXSW performance of the entire new album? SEX.

Haha yeah it's nice but too long. I see you're doing the entire Mount Eerie discography lol

thecontrollersphere is awesome that's gonna be an amazing show in April.
