I just finished listening "Contra",it's really....weird. Too much electronic stuff,all that McCartney-esque rawness of the first record is gone,which is a huge letdown.I only liked a song or two in addition to the ones I had listened to earlier,so I guess they kinda had that "Second Album Syndrome" with this one.I think I'll just pretend that this doesn't exist. :/ What was your opinion of it?

Oh well,I still haven't had the chance to listen to the entire thing,but the singles "Cousins" [the video of that one was really good! ] and "Horchata" were really promising.I should check it out asap though,thanks for reminding me.By the way,I sent you a recommendation about Cocteau Twins,give them a listen,let me know what you think!

Yeah,same here. I haven't listened to the whole album,but came across a few tracks,most notably "11th Dimension".I guess it's his way of drifting away from the band's general style.So here's hoping he'll find a different direction in time,because synths are a drag,usually.A jazzy record,maybe? or some Television covers ? His voice is really similar to Tom Verlaine's.
