Haha converting people into listening to IF is a worthy hobby, must admit I've done the same, got a few success stories in the bag by now :D Haven't heard of Download festival, and since it took me forever to reply you you've probably been there already, or what? I went through the artist lists for probably every festival in the damn country for the summer, but most of them only have 5% potential interest, really. Given the chance I might go to Sauna Open Air Festival in early June, would be nice to see Meshuggah, Soilwork and a few Finnish ones live for once in my life hehe.

I was just re-checking the dates for the Dublin gig to see if i really could have gone and seen them again, only to find out they've had to cancel the UK / Ireland tour :( Oh course I hope Jesper will be better soon, but that still sucks, can't imagine you're exactly thrilled either :/ (well at least we saw them ONCE this tour!)

Can't complain, only it turned out they mainly use this software I'm not really familiar with, so been trying to grasp it all in a few days hehe, but am getting there now :P Opeth is surprise surprise also Swedish (as is 80% of my charts anyway :P) and play progressive metal, you should give it a try if you're the least bit curious, I deeply recommend their album Blackwater Park :) Takes me a bit of a specific mood to listen to them, but like them loads

Happy new year you too :) I moved to Oulu, on the coast, pretty high up north. Am doing my work practice to my bachelor's degree doing graphics and illustrations at one of the biggest news papers in the country, trying to get used to waking up early like normal people after a while again hehe. Oh well, at least I got something useful to do, which is always welcome instead of pointless hanging around :D Just weird to be in a new place again, where I know next to no one, but I noticed Opeth has a concert here on Feb 14th, so I reckon I'll be spending an alternative valentine's and go look for new friends there :P

Been busy stuffing my earthly belongings in boxes as I'm moving to another city around new year. Am actually quite looking forward to it, because they got way more concerts there hehe :D I had planned to spend the holidays more or less sleeping, but deciding to go home at mum's for christmas, I have a nagging suspicion they will consist of anything but.. The fuss gives me an overdose of christmas so easily, but should be nice anyway. You got some special plans for the holidays, or just use them to take a few days off?

Hehe good thing I stalk people when looking for new music, might have missed your post otherwise :P So, you'll be seeing them again then or what? :D A friend of mine moved to Ireland not so long ago and invited me over in April, which is exactly when IF would be there, so am really tempted... got a hellish and busy spring ahead of me, but will have to see if I can squeeze it in *fingers crossed* I like the idea about Wacken, actually, never really thought I might even get a chance to go, so will have to ponder over it :D

Yeah i've been fantastic since it was anounced that InFlames are coming back to the UK in May :) You'll have to let me know if you join the Colony and i'll add you as a friend on there. Me and my friend are looking into seeing them at Wacken in Germany next year, you should come and meet us there it should be a blast. The only music you need is InFlames as they are that good :) Nice one for catching the Guitar pick by the way thats awesome. Your so lucky to have seen them in Gothenburg i would love that.

Incredible live, you say? That's almost an understatement :D Sheesh I haven't had an evening like that ever before, still few days after I'm all hyper. Even caught a guitar pick in the end, it's my precious now <3 :P

I think it was when they released Whoracle that I discovered them, so bit over a decade now, but haven't had the chance to see them live before now. Always had a bit of trouble finding similar taste in music amongst my friends until only few years ago, so now that I got the chance, going out of the country to see them is really no sacrifice at all. Can only dream of having your luck to actually get to meet the guys, though :P You seen them on earlier tours yourself?

woah lucky you! Yeah am going to see them in Gothenburg, since the Helsinki concert was sold out hehe. Can hardly wait!
