OK... Back to the simulation.. It could make sense if you were to consider it creationism without the dogma. I mean.. what if our universe is just a petri dish experiment of something akin to a grad student's thesis. "Let us place this variable and that variable into this and that, and from that, we can make a hypothesis" etc.. etc.. Perhaps we are the thirteenth millionth attempt. By now, our fate can be predicted with a reasonable amount of certainty. So maybe our creator loves us like a scientist might love their terrarium. Perhaps the creator roots for our success so that he or she will get a good grade and be able to hire on at one of the universe 500 companies after graduation. Who knows.. One thing I do know... is that I do not know. My certainty is my uncertainty.

Hey! I think the very existence of Milkshake8 is a distinctive anomaly that proves we're not living in a Simulation...

OK... clogging up the Milkshake shout box with more light heart trivia to ponder whilst passing the empty time. So. I the article I will link to this page and offer to you has me thinking about 3D printers. I mean... really.. what they are talking about is a super advanced 3D printer... maybe.. So I am thinking that if it is possible that we are in a simulation, and God is a computer programmer... then , there is also a possibility that we are on tape, and there is no free will... On the other hand, if it is a simulation, then maybe it is the 60 millionth one, and by now, the simulation's code writer/s (God) pretty much knows what's going to happen... HMMM throw in a few viariables... let's say... Evil, pain and Las Vegas.. Then let's see if we can shake things .?

[panics]Oh Blimey! It's a Shakey Group Holocaust !!![/panics] Do these Suit Shits know what they've unleashed?! .On a personal front, if there's any more eloquent signifier of how completely soulless these Corporate Butt Suckers truly are, it's the fact that, having smiled at "Mr Sneaky Radio" or "Broadcast Radio" I now partake of "Group and similar artists" - WTF? Hey, I'm getting used to Southport now - unless you like a long walk you can, apparently, see the sea about as much as you can from Preston... It may be difficult to find Gallivant - a risky rec; you may despise if you hunt & hunt, then find it's arsey tosh!! But nevertheless, I stand by it (even though all I can remember of it is a sort of perplexed warmth...)

Mr. Milkshake.. Why have you lowered yourself to cavorting to the likes of those Southport people?? What a potty place! The carnival beach atmosphere is MUCH better! So finally , we have a chance to do something positive. Maybe the Canadians will expect an exchange though. We must be careful and vigilant! . Go Hawks!

Oi! Why have I been moved to Southport?! Grotty place - move me back to Preston, please. That Congresswoman was probably blathering some sorta nonsense that was no where near as world-moving as Bieber stuff... he must be good anyway, someone reckons they tagged him with Testing123.... Right, I really ought to watch the Bunuel but you have, unfortunately, lit upon an area of personal inertia that is particularly acute; namely tracking down films especially if it involves paying for the things. Having let that out of the bag, you'll probably think me a rum sort telling you about Andrew Kottings "Gallivant" and wondering what you could possibly think of it. Anyways I suspect you'll carry out some semi-legal jiggery-pokery on yer mobile and watch inbetween starting a couple of new Groups ......

I'm thinking... of "To err is to be human"... I know the rest is about forgiveness and all, but it's beyond the point. I wonder... or maybe even believe ... that instead of being part of the American family, that we are part of the human family. This family appears to be flawed so that under any given situation, it's dark tendencies rise to the top, allowing for said greedy people and said tyrannic individuals to acquire means and to effect the zeitgeist. There are, I am certain, multiple illustrations which can be taken from multiple locations and across multiple periods of time. On the other hand, I am open to the possibility that this belief is untrue and that I am simply blinded by my own misguided melancholy. We, as a species , may yet win the struggle to survive. We may restore the oceans, reverse the process of global warming, eliminate a need for war, arrest the population explosion, and break free from the religious dogma binding a majority to a belief system disneyland.

Left Brain; ..give me a candy bar..what is knowledge anyway..and can't pretty much everything be left to interpretation. There is no global warming... there has always been a need for global warming.... IE: see Northwest passage. Hey... wealth is relative and when compared to someone from say... Agra India,..we are mostly pretty wealthy. We can buy things , use them, and take them back... Try that in Bangladesh. Right Brain: How can one, even from reading the totality of another's thought process, as opposed to a minuscule 1,000 character supposed representation of said thoughts, really even begin to grasp someone else's beliefs on much of anything?? A belief system is not a real thing, because it can not be quantified....due to it's ever changing nature. I think..... but I live in Washington, where beer is soon to be a close second ... maybe .

A full throttle football game today has helped immensely.. It seems that my team.. who's images I feel compelled to wear and who's stadium has a seat with my name on it... at least 4 months of the year.... has gone and gotten themeslves into the NFC championships.. #1 of 2. Hi Mr. Shaken milk. I hope all is homogenized in your pasteurized world. I just went to a football game last Sunday. Seahawks vs Vikings. It was an outstanding exercise on the grid iron. Going to the game, one of some 67,000 onlookers can be a rush. Lately though... I mean this year in general.. something has changed which makes me reluctant to take my 13 year old to the game. Lately, the drum beat has been growing. It has sounded more frequently and more intensely, and it's message has been more overt. It started before the game...To raise our 12th man flag.. her is Major so and so... Medal of Honor winner helicopter pilot... Then after the 1st quarter... "Please observe members of the Washington State National Guard as they re enlist on the field." (Cheers!! Hurray!!) Then before half time.... "Please stand if you are or were a member of our military." (Hurray!!!)

-
Mrsixtyfive
Then at half time... "Please stay in your seats to honor our purple heart recipients form Afghanistan." Then more in the second half... (Hurray Hurray... The military are our heros who get praised and cheered... Then on the screen... "Recruiters are standing by in Touchdown City to speak with you about a career in our nation's armed forces." I feel like an outsider at my own team's stadium because, for the life of me, I can not understand why the game of football has to be an opportunity to acquire new pawns for the rich man's chess board. Could it all have something to do with all those guns, tanks, jets, mines, missiles, body armor, 600 dollar toilet seats and bandages the private sector gets to make a killing on... Nah. We have never been at war. We will always be at war.

(A)So , In general, the totality of human experience has been co opted by forces which would package and sell that reality back to you in conveniently manageable sound bites. Yumm.... Take Halloween for example.. Back in the good ol days of the last millennium, one could piece together a costume from this closet and that thrift store in order to traipse about the neighborhood on a scavenger hunt for the good will of one's neighbors. Now... one must buy a costume and wear it, not in the neighborhood, but at the mall, or some other collection of business establishments. It's not profitable.... I mean Too dangerous to have children gallivanting over god knows where and talking to their neighbors... They might get bad candy... as opposed to safe and good candy provided by the business community.

#1 OK... Here is a delayed reply which is a totally different conversation from Plethoricman's. It has absolutely nothing to do with Plethoric man..... That's what is weird about the whole shout process. It is as if a group of people stand in a circle and speak to one another while ignoring the conversations of those others in the circle "I just went to a great concert " might say one... followed by "Did you think Patrick O'brien lived vicariously through Jack Aubrey, or was he acting purely as a fictional biographer....." etc... etc... etc... It all ends up being noise for the ethos

#2 So.... In reply to you post... Why the fuck is G.N. even relevant? If there were possibly a different news propaganda machine delivering our daily snippets of information for us to regurgitate at the water tank, would we even be concerned about what he cares about... I believe we should pay taxes, and a lot more than we do, in order to provide necessary services to enhance our quality of life.... So,,, Is someone going to write a fucking story about me??

I did watch this prog about Ind.Rev. which convincingly put forward the argument that tea-drinking was vital to Britains pre-eminence at this time! It goes something like this- tea, being a natural antiseptic, gave better life chances to people living in the high urban densities that were required for industrialisation to succeed... and I can tell you, I do do my bit on the char-downing front :)
