Noctifer Birmingham is a beautiful song, and criminally underplayed. also, Hey neighbor how's life

I love your ratio of mountain goats plays to other plays

I will be on the lookout for robots for you.

50 % mountain goats. cool.

hi neighbor :) i'm boggled by yr 16,166 MG scrobbles. is "raja vocative" buried somewhere in there? i've been thinking about it lately and i'm pretty sure that that is one of the top john darnielle songs ever.

I may have been drunk when I thought of it, but I consider my metal band idea to be among the best ideas I've had. Thank god for cheap beer and cheaper whiskey.

a hah, found the mp3, and the back story. definitely going to buy that ep at the show.

....I assume these are live recordings of MG/KK you are listening to? Is there any place to obtain these online? I've already got my ticket to see the two of them in New Orleans on Nov. 3, and i absolutely love Kaki's album, so a combo breaker (especially one involving mario) would make my fucking decade. PS - Noctifer Birmingham is one of the older MG tracks i had unfortunately overlooked in my obsession. It's number one status on your charts made me look at it again.

way jealous you saw the goats four times. i only managed two.

idk if you're interested in jandek, but jandek is coming to ann arbor in may
