I play Hanson (to me a real "Boy Band" as they wrote and played the music unlike 'nsync or Backstreet Boys where were called "Boy Bands") ever now and then... depends on how iTunes or the iPod shuffles the tracks. I could listen continually for 3 months without repeating the same track. Your English is probably better then mine and I speak it as my first language.

Glad you liked it, they are one of my favorites right now. Here is a live performance of that song in a remixed version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrjwqXwyzNU They wear masks to perform, so here is an interview in Swedish if you want to see how they look: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aasDUJE6UTE The singer has a solo album called Fever Ray, here is a cool video from it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4F-CpE73o2M

Sure! I like the early Elvis the best. The Sun Sessions and then singles like Hound Dog and Jailhouse Rock.

Nice! Thank you. Actually when I read it first in my email it preserved the line breaks, so that wasn't a problem.

Yes, your English is not too bad but my Portuguese doesn't exist! Can you try to tell me what the song was about? Maybe your friend who knows more English can help. Using an online translator it looks like the band's name is like Chain Reaction in English and the song title is Neurosis. I like the parts with the piano sound on top of the distorted guitars.

GaGa's SNL performance was interesting, she did a remix of Paparazzi first and then a medley where she started playing LoveGame but then sat down at the piano and her band stopped playing while she sang parts of Bad Romance, Poker Face and New York. She also did two comedy skits, one with Madonna and one with Andy Samberg. The clips are all over the net, look for them.

I'm mostly just on the computer, reading, writing, playing games, listening to music or watching videos. I played guitar and bass in a few bands when I was younger but haven't done much of that lately. Maybe I'll start writing songs again sometime soon, I've been thinking about it.

I have been caregiving for a relative for the past year, it's exhausting but it's at least I can use the computer here and follow my interests that way. I don't get to go out much, though!

Yes, I do like House. I haven't seen Grey's Anatomy in a long time but I know my mom used to watch it! I've been meaning to see Lost sometime, they have it streaming from Netflix and I just haven't gotten around to it yet. I don't watch much TV these days with high speed internet but there is a newer show I like called Dollhouse and I like 30 Rock.

Hello! Everything's fine, I just didn't have much to say! LOL. Lady GaGa will be on Saturday Night Live this weekend, I don't know if they show that down there but I'm sure you could find the video if not.

I know who he is, but the only American Idol winner's album I've heard all the way through is Kelly Clarkson "Breakaway". I don't know if they showed it down there in Brazil yet but Lady Gaga performed "Paparazzi" and won Best New Artist on the MTV awards tonight. If not you could look online for the video clips.

Yeah, I like Aimee Mann, her biggest thing here was the Magnolia soundtrack. Lots of good songs on there like "Save Me" and "Wise Up". I had that CD but never got around to her others.

Well, Sepultura was popular here among metal fans, they weren't on the pop charts or anything haha. I'll have to look into the Jovem Guarda era stuff, I haven't heard it mentioned here before. I like some of the earlier Tori Amos stuff, I haven't heard much past her first few albums but some of the early stuff reminded me of Kate Bush, who I really like too.

It's probably more amazing to someone who didn't grow up here, as I'm sure Brazil would amaze me more. I don't know much about Brazil but I do like some of the older music like Caetano Veloso, all the old Tropicalia stuff, and old bossa nova like João Gilberto. I think the newest Brazilian music that was popular here was the metal band Sepultura but that was a while ago.

Yes, I'm from California. That's the only Hanson song I know, haha I just downloaded it for fun. It's still pretty catchy. The video for "Paparazzi" is pretty cool, I like the song and the video. Lady Gaga is the most interesting pop singer to come along in a while, in my opinion.
