The King of Limbs is OKAY, somewhat disappointing on first listen. It's pretty short (8 song, roughly a little over half an hour of music), and the first half is kind of boring. I wouldn't go so far as to call it terrible, but it takes a few listens to get used to.

Oh man. I saw them not too long ago with Cymbals Eat Guitars. I wasn't too familiar with them at the time, but they blew me away. Now I listen to them almost daily. You've got to see them the next time they come round, and bring your dancing shoes! :)

I really enjoy it. I still like her previous albums more, but this one is definitely going to grow on me. There are some pretty bangin beats on that record, though, make no mistake of that. I think I'll have another listen right now. :P

She & Him were excellent. It was a free show so there were a ton of people there - almost felt like a damn festival what with all the drunk bastards stumbling about...but it sounded great and their set didn't disappoint. They had a double encore and ended with a cover of "I Put a Spell On You." So good.

I've been hearing great things about Meshuggah for what seems like forever now, yet I never get around to listening to them. I'll check them out though! Do you like Opeth, Death, or any of the older death metal bands? Autopsy? I just kind of stopped listening to bands like that to expand my metal horizons haha. Do you recommend anything non-metal?

I HIGHLY reccomend Born of Osirs' debut The New Reign. It's so short, but outstanding nonetheless. The Faceless and Obscura are really good too. The more techy stuff. I don't know if you like more ambient or black metal stuff but Wolves in the Throne Room is AMAZING. Really, truly wonderful. I see you like Mastodon as well, maybe check out Bison B.C. or Baroness if you haven't already. Sorry for naming so many, those are just some of my favorites! If you can think of anything you think I should hear, let me know!
