I like very very little black metal, my favorite are Adorior (as far as that's Black), Hades Archer, Lord Mantis and Psalm 666, that's pretty much what I like. The rest I've heard was mostly extremely boring for me.

Haha! I'm glad. It kind of has less to do with knowing what our fanbase (all... five of you) wants, more to do with doing what we think works and feels best to play live. We always play a lot of songs off the first album and the songs from the second that sound more like the old stuff, so that was the starting point. It's still going to piss off some people, especially the black metal fundamentalists, possibly even more than the last one did, but I think it is a much, much stronger album.

No way, man. I'm on this site to learn about new music, it is totally cool. Album is coming along well. Drums are recorded and everything else exists in demo form. Release probably won't happen until early next year. We like to think it has the intensity of the first album with the superior songwriting and smarter dynamics of the second. It's leaner, with fewer riffs per song in most cases, but more focused, with every riff more important, more dramatic, more bold. It's by far the fastest and most intense but when it rocks, it rocks harder and heavier. The black metal is more black but the 90s rock influence is way more pronounced.
