yeah, they're definitely amazing (and worth listening!). Check out Key, In Never Out and Versus. In my humble opinion, these are their best albums!

Hello there! Sorry I took this long to reply, it's just typical of me to forget all sorts of things. I find it kind of difficult to skim through your artists and compare them with mine in order to be sure I don't recommend you bands you've hears hundreds of times. Wish they'd make this easier again. If you use Spotify, however, this playlist is pretty massive, and I sometimes look for new bands in it: https://play.spotify.com/user/lohecn/playlist/2UFm79ZooqGO6bSOkazxZT You can add your own favourites if they're not already there too.

I will check Animals As Leaders in the near future when I have time. And yes, I was in Köln at Godspeed gig, you were there too? And btw. YONL in Warsaw were epic. You like them? Haha yeees, of course not because of clubs and bars. For sure ;) Thanks! Enjoy the rest of the summer too!

I'd love to come next year too, but will depend on the situation. Sure, I enjoyed the fest a lot. Well, this year it's not that hard to pick. I liked many bands but I think This WIll Destroy You was the band I enjoyed the most. Saw them for the first time and that night turned to be the most emotional night on the whole festival. But yeah like you already said, the ambience and visitors and fooooood were brilliant as always :-) Which band would you choose (as the most loved) if you had to pick? I haven't heard of Animals As Leaders. Would you recomment them? What genre is it? Nice, I'm seeing GY!BE in August too. And also Year Of No Light and Casipan & Jo Quail, all of them in August too :) Looking forward to it. Yeeay! I also finished my Foreign Languages Institute couple days ago. Feeling like a free bird ^^ well ok not really, but will finally have some time off :) So you were in Berlin? What made you decide to visit the great capital of Germany?

Hello, hello, it's been a while ;) Honestly? I have no idea what happend with my last.fm-activity. I have a hard time in my life. I've quit my job, I have no money, no fresh energy to get up and start something new. Maybe it is early mid-life crisis :D Anyway, I should kick myself in the ass and make something good with my life. I've seen Spoiwo on dunk estival via facebook live stream and I think it was quite good gig, not the best but really cool. Last album of Tides From Nebula is so good as I expected but brings nothing new in tides music. Maybe I'm wrong... So tell me, what music plans do you have for the next months? :-) PS As ussual, sorry for my english. I'm still learning but I have no opportunity to speak or write in this language. Greetings :-)

Hey! Have you been at dunk this year?? I saw one Mark Barrois tagged on Spoiwo's pic, is that you? :) I've been there too. And noo, I'm so not progressing with it, too much things happening right now. But I will finish it one day. About releases, Tides From Nebula did a great job, really like the album! Hammock as well; "Clarity" is magical... and concerning the rest of the bands you mentioned, I didn't really have a listen to it. But I surely will in the near future =) You obviously listened to them all, what do you think of it? And how are you doing? Any interesting gigs?

Lucky you. Well, as for Enter Shikari, start from Take To the Skies album (2007) - Return to energiser, Sorry you are not a winner, Mothership and Anything can happen in the next half hour are my top songs. Common Dreads is ok, but in case check it out. And without a doubt, A Flash Flood Colour (2012) is my favorite, has been on replay for years.

Wes Anderson is one of my fave filmmakers! Swans are totally amazing, I'm going to see him solo in March, it's the poster or flyer but it's cut off his name and dates! I can't wait but the last album so great you could start with that, it's called "To Be Kind" it's for everyone but let me know what you think, OK?

Wauw gaaf man!

Hello :-) Thanks for share this album (The Raven That Refused To Sing). It' s perfect for melancholic and peaceful day. And the music videos are really beautiful. I like this kind of visual expression. Have you already discovered something interesting in music this year? Groet/ Pozdrawiam!

Post-Rock Essentials is one of the fine things that keep me on Facebook. I've discovered so much wonderful music there that I lost count. 6forty and farpastpost radio also provide me with interesting new stuff. As for the "Russ", it is also called "Weißbier-Radler": https://www.paulaner.com/products/weissbier-family/weissbier-radler

No problem. Sometimes I forget to check and answer as well. Yeah, I know Germany offers a lot of beer but before I went to the Netherlands I never really cared about that because I mostly drank mixed beer and was more a wine type of person. Now I pay more attention to craft beer and beer in general. From the Bavarian beer I love Paulaner "Russ" which is wheat beer with lemonade. I was just reminded by your last listened tracks that I still have to check out audiolepsia. Thanks for that! :)

I know Porcupine Tree but I' ve never heard S. Wilson' s solo projects. I must check it out. Arctic Drones is one of my favourite sites and I' m glad that Caspian is on the first place. New album really deserves for more attention and warm acclaim. Oh, I almost forgot, polish band Spoiwo is on eleventh position. This guys ( and one girl ) look hopeful. Regarding the post-rock... Somebody said to me that every post-rock band sounds the same. I wonder if he ever heard more than one or three bands of this music genre ;)

Heet Transcendental.

Thanks :-) I know This Will Destroy You, If These Trees Could Talk, sleepmakeswaves but I have never listen about Exxasens and Steven Wilson. For a long time I was a big fan of dark electro and new romantic ( you know... Diary of Dreams, Sisters of Mercy, Depeche Mode and more ). For a few years, maybe five-six, I take everything what post-rock can offer me ;) Now I' m still searching for something new and glamorous ;) By the way, I want to recommend you polish band BOKKA. It' s nothing new and fresh but maybe you will like it. Groet!

Hello. Can I add your profile to my "Following" list? You have such a good music taste :-) Maybe I will find some new bands and learn something knew. Recently I can' t find nothing interesting and really worth to listen. Maybe I should take a brake and listen only old good music. Sorry for my english, but I' m still learning after long, long time when I used this language for the last time. Greetings.

Well, I don't remember the name of the beer I drank at the concert but it was definitely a dark one and we didn't drink Heineken even once because there were so much other good beers that suited our tastes better. We were meeting a lot with colleagues of my boyfriend at café De Baron in Eindhoven where they have a wide selection of beer. Everytime we told the barkeeper what we liked and he recommended us some beers - all tasted really good. My favourite there was a port wine beer. Another favourite was Kriek. In the Netherlands, I fell in love with beer and tried many different kinds. Sometimes I was standing a long while in front of the beershelves of Albert Heijn and had a hard time deciding which beer to test next.

I just saw that you're listening to Good Weather For An Airstrike at the moment. Can you recommend an album of them? I only scrobbled them twice and I wanted to listen to them again for a while now but I really don't know where to start. Oh, they also have an album from 2015. Now I'm even more puzzled.

I wanted to see Norwegian blackjazz band Shining at Effenaar in Eindhoven. Unfortunately, the concert was sold out. But by chance I discovered the cozy location Café & Theaterzaal t' Rosenknopje and saw Swedish singer-songwriter Richard Lindgren playing together with Dutch pianist Bart De Win. It was the one and only time I met a Dutch guy who couldn't speak English. He was the barkeeper but we figured out what kind of beer I want to drink anyway. I couldn't be at the 10th anniversary of dunk!festival 2015 but the two girls with whom I went to VIVID told me it was amazing. Well, I knew that before because I read a lot about "Europe's finest post-rock festival" after discovering this Belgian gem. That was one of the reasons I definitely wanted to visit VIVID to check out at least one post-rock festival. I hope good fortune will be on your side and you can be there. Maybe I will be there as well this year.

Just now I finished listening through this list: http://arcticdrones.com/staff-picks/50-best-albums-2015-post-rock/ After that my mind was blank and I had no idea what I should listen to but then I remembered that warm fuzzy feeling while writing about VIVID to you. Now I'm inspired and I will re-listen some bands. Recently, I really enjoyed In Silence We Yearn by Oh Hiroshima. I totally forgot that I sometimes really like singing.

My boyfriend worked in Eindhoven for five months and I visited him a couple of times. We traveled a lot when I was there. With VIVID it was kind of a funny story, too. Fortunately, the guy who managed the festival remembered me asking for a ride from Germany to Norway. A girl searched for people that would drive together with her in her VW bus so ferry and fuel wouldn't be too expensive. At that time I had already given up. But then she sent me a message (thanks to the manager!) and that was the beginning of an incredible journey. Because I got cheap ICE tickets and we girls camped and cooked together the expenses were okay. At the beginning I was sceptical. In the end, money didn't matter. It was an invaluable adventure: I saw the Nordic nature, art inspired by music, great shows by wonderful bands that felt like concert and movie at the same time, met all those nice, laid-back and generous people, visited the cute town Kristiansand... I love the north. Soon I fly to Iceland again. :)

From the Netherlands. That's cool. I was there a couple of weeks last year and I loved it. Such a nice country. Would go there again anytime. As for the recommendations, definitely check out Tangled Thoughts of Leaving: they make heavy post-rock that's kind of jazzy as well as mathy - and I really like the piano. Indeed, with the album "Yield of Despair" it was kind of a funny story. When I first listened to it I didn't like it at all. I made it through the first song and game over. Probably August wasn't a good time for this dark, complex album. Later in November, I stumbled over it again. Then it hit me like a hurricane and just took me away. Mind-blowing. A similar experience I had with "Golevka" by The Evpatoria Report. Then there is "Sukzession" by Cataya. I saw their beautiful videos and fell in love. Finally, "Some Are Born Into The Endless Night" by Watered. Only band of these four I have seen live, at VIVID in Norway. The post-rock festival was an unforgettable experience. ♪♫

Hello :-) Caspian is one of my top favorite bands for a long time. I'm addicted. The new album is really good. I think "Darkfield" is my beloved track. "Arcs of command" and "Echo and abyss"... I saw boys live three time in my life and I'm impressed. They are kind and nice people. By the way, I like your Top Trakcs. Greetings from Poland.

Hello hello! Sorry hele trage reactie!
