Hiya!! Yes, Beck was amazing. And so was Jenny Lewis. I caught myself with the most giant grin on my face a number of times. Both of them at Red Rocks was kind of a world-maker! And don't you feel badly. Truth be told, I totally forgot Beck was a Scientologist. My love for him runs that deep. :p

While I agree that summer is wonderful, I'd like to "hear" some more enthusiasm WJB!

And yes, I've been quite happy with the new Bear Hands. In fact, I think I'll listen to them now!

So glad the show didn't disappoint! They can really go either way. I saw The Pixies a few years ago and was a little leary...but they killed it! Really put on a spectacular show worth the wait and the ticket price. And your mom was right. Colorado is dangerous. Best be safe and stay far, far away. Wise choice Uncle M! :p

Damn!! That is awesome! Love that you're getting out to see and hear so much live music. That's the best! And your tastes are so varied so it'll keep it interesting for sure. Found a copy and listening to that new National album now. :) Can understand Chinese and speak it poorly. There are some good Beijing bands: I like Carsick Cars (who actually have opened for some tours in the U.S.) and Hedgehog ( http://www.last.fm/music/刺猬 ).

Wow, as much as I love The National, I don't know that there is any one of their songs that I would want to listen to on repeat for 6 hours straight!
