this is where i live: a rock/metal concert was canceled because the mayor thinks that God Dethroned promotes satanism! it was supposed to happen tonight, but the owner of the private club was forced to cancel it, because of pressure and threats (the revocation of his liquor license) coming from the mayor's office... WTF?!?!?!? i thought KKK and the Inquisition were long gone!... :(((

Wow man, I never thought I'd stop using last.fm when I first joined! Now all I do is scrobble, and make sporadic appearances on OMMH. They sold out like a band would do to MTV. :(

Bah, I take it back... I just popped the DVD running Ubuntu, and it wouldn't read the DVD either. I believe the hardware is bust :(. CDs are being read alright though. I read somewhere that this is a common problem in combo drives. I still hate Windows though, lol. Have you read the news about Microsoft bullying open source companies?

Marukasu! Long time no shout, so I'm leaving one right now. :D My Windows XP has stopped reading from DVDs, even though Ubuntu and Fedora have no problems reading them. I guess I'll have to be satisfied with the cracked version of GTA IV, and reinstall that version to continue playing :(.

Sounds interesting mate. I might check it out. I don't mind the lack of social networking features, its all about the music! I just want a platform where I can listen to new music for FREE and get recommendations etc. Pandora was great, then they became U.S. exclusive. When I came to Last.fm, I actually believed that they wouldn't fall at the mercy of record labels. How wrong I was. And mate, make a facebook profile now!

Hmm, spotify eh? Is it like Last.fm used to be a few years ago, when it was at the top of its game? I used to really like Pandora, and they too crumbled to the pressure from record labels and it became a U.S. only online radio :|. I used to be able to listen to it with a proxy, but now I can't seem to make that work. Maybe the proxy trick might work for last.fm as well :D. And of course, I wouldn't mind a 30 second ad either. I used to be a big fan of Yahoo! radio, when I was really new to metal. They used to play shit like Mudvayne and Ill Nino on the metal station lol. Then I got sick of it and found last.fm, and the rest is history. :D

Haha, me too dude! I hadn't slept for two days straight. Fell asleep without my knowledge on Friday evening, and got up only early morning today. :D And for a fucking change, I had a happy dream lol.
