Well funeral doom metal kinda makes sense, as its supposed to invoke despair/hopelessness and be extremely slow music. I think the bump(from to low to high) can be explained becease i've been trying out a lot of new bands this month, slowcore, post-rock, grunge bands and various electronic genre's.

So with your post in the GT music thread, are you implying you don't like experimental progressive post-avant dream-jazzcore?

Glad you liked it man, any particular song that you liked? Are any of them that I listed :D? Also, I've been getting back into instrumental stuff, and I've had Apollo brown and Nujabes in the background whilst working and I've managed to get 200 tracks from each artist lol. You should check out the album 'Make Do' by Apollo Brown. It's great.

Black Sabbath - Paranoid is essential. But if you really don't want to start out with old school bands (which I suggest you do) or prefer to come back to them later. Albums like Saint Vitus - Born Too Late and Pentagram's Relentless are a must. From there we jump to a more stoner type metal Sleep - Sleep's Holy Mountain and Electric Wizard - Dopethrone (this is nothing to fuck with, very slow and crushing). And don't worry about the vocals even if they seem harsh you can handle it.

Fucking money bro. I haven't had a "job" in the longest. It would be awesome if you started listening to doom metal. The media section will be complete lol.

Ambient 1 and Discrete Music. Those are two of his best ambient music efforts. Next to that, Small Craft On A Milk Sea is his newest endeavour and worth listening to as well. It's a lot more techno and less ambient though :) I liked The Cancel, reminded me of S.Maharba.

Exactly. That's why I love them so much. I'm glad you like them as well, it's sort of hit or miss with recommending them to people because of the peculiar vocals but once you're hooked...you're hooked ;)
