For the simple fact that now I know all the words to Reasons to Be Cheerful Part 3, and also the fact that you love Barry and the Remains, I'd like to be friends! :D

Hey....Dean? Greg? (I'm confused, just checked out your blog) Hi there from sunny Sydney...yeah I can't be sure whether it was 'January' (although that was definately the first single I remember my family buying from my childhood) - maybe the first song I heard was 'Come Up & See Me' by Ted Mulry Gang...with my Dad working on the car in the garage...cheers, T

Sometimes one has to go back to the greats and 'Swing' is in that cat. Loving Deerhunter by the way. 'desire lines' has one of the best finale's I have heard I'm ages. Ace

B-52 was recorded about three times in the studio, always in one take, and so there are a few other recordings where there is a completely different feel. They just used the last recording in the end, because it seemed to have the most energy.

I didn't know many people liked them. Which is your favourite song from 'Up'? And have you heard their album 'Heaven Scent' ?

They are rather good aren't they. I didn't know Will Sergeant had done some early sessions with them. Rob a Bank is fantastic song.

It is a great Byrds number. Am I wrong in suggesting it is from the muse of the late GREAT Mr Gene Clark.
