i first saw pierrot le fou when i was about thirteen. it blew my mind. i remember that it was so blue and so weird... my favourite would be Breathless, though. it's so fresh and gangsterish yet somehow tender. i can't say i've seen much of godard... i somehow hm, don't like him getting political later. but vivre sa vie is great, yes. what other directors? hmmm. lots of them. i love movies, actually. the directors would be ingmar bergman, woody allen, wong kar wai and david lynch now. but i'll have some tarantino, eastwood and scorsese every now and then. what about you?

what a great job you've done on the Trish Keenan group! I was fortunate enough to see them live 3 times: "noise made by..." tour, "haha sound", "tender buttons" and was impressed and satisfied by the experience every time. it is too bad that her passing has not been noticed on a more broad scale (not overly surprising though). she was such a great singer and brilliant artist. Broadcast have been one of my favourite bands (if not my favourite) for over a decade :)

Aoki Takamasa – music for sweet room on the orbit of the earth (self remix). that track on the album "fractalized" by aoki takamasa features tujiko noriko. was just listening to it right now.

i guess you can describe boards of canada's sound as being similar to aphex twin's ambient albums (ambient works 1 + 2, richard d james) but more lo-fi whilst aphex twin is similar to brain eno. my favorite albums from them are "campfire headphase" and "music has the right to children", but all of them are great. ill be sure to check out the remix.

Wow- eu AMO Monty Python. Um dos meus filmes preferidos de todos os tempos é Monty Python em Busca do Cálice Sagrado, e um que eu sei praticamente todas as falas de cor é o dvd Live at the Hollywood Bowl, que não é bem um filme e sim uma apresentação ao vivo deles. Nossa, você acertou na mosca nessa, tenho até os dvds com os episódios do seriado que eles faziam nos anos 60. E pela sua indicação vou procurar escutar alguma coisa do Lenny Bruce logo mais ; )

Kubrick mais Lynch, Tarantino, Jim Jarmusch e Terry Gilliam são meus diretores preferidos. E conheço Lenny Bruce de nome, mas nunca escutei nada dele com atenção.
