I never stopped listening to what I liked because of criticism, but when I was younger I was embarrassed because of it. I wouldn't flaunt my favorite music because I didn't want to hear how people hated my favorite bands. Now, I don't give a shit. I flaunt it just so when they tell me it sucks I can tell them they're wrong.

True, but those are the first rock bands I ever got into. Like 6 or 7 years ago. Still my favorite bands, but then my musical taste branched out farther and farther.
