I tried to move to Austin, but I'm in San Antonio - 1hr30mins further south. Regina's only a maybe so far, but I probably should get tickets for her. So many good people go to Austin and I'm trying to avoid spending all my money traveling there and back every week.

You need to change your status for T&S from maybe to YES! I got tickets to their show in Austin, TX in February. I also saw YYYs a couple weeks ago and they were so good. You'll love it.

TBC was the headliner for Pet Sounds and ended up being Brian Jonestown Massacre. Not exactly headline material in my mind. With the cheaper ticket price for other festivals it hopefully wont cost too much more to go elsewhere next year. Could also turn it into a proper holiday.

Had a great time at T, as always. Too many bands to list but my favourites would probably be The Subways, moshing to Biffy, and the crowd bouncing for Hot Chip, who I've barely heard before. Only disappointment was at the end when I went to see TBC. There were a lot of disappointed/confused people there. Think that might be my last one for a little while as I hope to expand out to some other european festivals next year.

Yeah, final 10miles took 5hrs! There were heaps of people walking by quicker. 10 bands is still good going. Think I'll take it a little easier next year instead of going straight from one band to the next.

Hey there. Would like to go to more gigs in Aberdeen but money's getting a little tight now so will no doubt miss a good few things. Other than the 7hr bus journey, mud and cold nights T was ace. Didn't think the line up was that great to begin with but luckily most of who I wanted to see didn't clash so I had people to see throughout.
