Hey. I'm not on AIM out of sheer laziness. The vast vast majority of my friends use skype chat exclusively and I can't be bothered to change my status on two IM programs. That said, my mom still uses AIM, so I leave myself logged in. I'm set away constantly, but I'm on my laptop pretty often so you have a decent chance of me answering anyway.

What do you mean by "Music Thing"? For a lightweight player compatible with a lot of formats, MusikCube might still be good, but I haven't used Windows in like 300 years. If you're talking linux, for Gnome you'd want to use Exaile or Rhythmbox, but a couple of years ago Rhythmbox would still choke on my large-ish collection. For KDE the gold standard is Amarok which I've never liked but I don't like KDE either, so to each his own. iTunes for windows is shitty compared to the Mac version, but it's also relatively decent. I think Songbird is likely still too slow for a large collection, but you might try it. If you're talking about something else music related, I have no idea what you're asking for so push me in the right direction and I'll try again.
