Top of the morning. Bonnaroo was awesome, as was to be expected. I saw more musical acts this year than my previous years, and I saw a lot of good stuff. Sigur Ros pushed me to tears, MSTRKRFT, MIA and !!! made me dance my pants off. Iron & Wine was nice for resting and daydreaming while getting lost in the clouds rolling by in the bright blue sky. As for this trip of yours, that sounds amazing. You'll have to find a way to share some pics with me when you get back. My roomy went on a trip to Greece, Rome, Pompei, and all of that. The pictures of the architecture and just seeing the water were awe-inspiring. In other news, I will not be able to attend the concert with your couch friend, as that night is my friend's fiancee's bday party. In fact, he's using the opportunity to give her the official ring while all the friends and family are there. But let me know what you decide for the Radiohead show, as I have yet to purchase a ticket. Now, having wrote you a book, I bid you adieu.

I am totally in agreement with you about the need for live jazz performances here in Columbus. During my time in New Orleans, there was nothing better than hearing jazz playing no matter what street you were walking down. It might not always have been live, but it establishes an easy kind of feeling. But it might be of interest to you to listen to 90.5 on Sundays from 3 to 6. It's a collection of jazz sets, and with yesterday's gorgeous weather, and the Sunday before that, it's made for a lemonade-sipping, barbeque-cooking, relaxing atmosphere. I hope you are enjoying your summer. I leave for Bonnaroo and Tennessee in 2 1/2 days!!

ow...I dont know any good books for beginners.if you can find them, try the official books that people in greece study.you should start from first grade and also be patient cause greek is difficult for sure.

I be faring well, although I must say that after reading that, sea faring kept popping in my cranium. It was hectic recently, but has since evened out. how've you been? i haven't heard from you in a while.

NYE would be New Year's Eve. I was downtown C-bus, on High and State. I had been up in a hotel suite and was trying to call my friend to see which direction he went. So, I was just standing there, looking real swell, with my head turned as I was trying to use my mobile phone. Docs say that it's doubtful I was hit with a fist. Ended what would otherwise have been considered a good night.

The holidays were enjoyable. I can never complain about getting to see family, eat tons of fatty food, and see my nephew and niece smile when they open the gifts I bought them. NYE was a bit rough though. Some punks decided to rough me up, and I earned myself 5 stitches in my chin. But I've since recovered. Going to Mardi Gras in a few days!! Life is good, as I hope it is for you.

I think I saw him pushing his way through the crowd between sets, but didn't end up by him during the show. I was maybe 5 or 6 rows away from the actual stage. When people are obnoxious just based on their looks, you know it isn't going to get any better when they open their mouth or spend an extended amount of time near you. I'm sorry you had to endure that.

i absolutely love the sex scene from mr. and mrs. smith. it gets me all hot and bothered every time i think about it and every time i actually watch it. sooo hot.

I was sorta sandwiched by a tall bald guy who was as polite as can be while still earning title of pompous ass (really hoping you don't say that's my friend!), and a thicker lady with a massive mauve purse. I asked her if she had a dog in it because it was so unnecessarily large. I think she was just carrying a portable buffet. I sound like a complete slime here but all hostility was well-earned

I was on the guardrail, basically. I apologize in the event that the healthy shove I gave the drunk fratboys might have sent them into your area. Keeping physically fit for such circumstances is essential. I've gone to Bonnaroo and over-done a few times, so I try to have some tolerance. Those guys were way past the adoreable/silly/ friendly drunk state. I offer less sympathy on Mondays, as well.

Don't I look preposterous for assuming you didn't go. You acted sad about it being sold out so I thought you got left out on a ticket. Anyhoo, a few douches were being rowdy by me as well. I was front right of stage. The guys were obnoxious & bumping into people on purpose. One hit my tiny lady friend & I grabbed him by the collar to help him get distance from us. I hope you & your friends are ok

I did end up going to the Spoon show. It was sold out, but it wasn't hard at all to land tickets. I say that $5 was probably about all the show was worth. Not a very impressive setlist from Spoon. The three song encore was all that was worth seeing, and many had already left by then. Just thought it would brighten your day to know you didn't miss out. Good day, Sofia.

I don't know that there's anything unfortunate about you going 15,000+ miles away & not being able to attend the same concerts as I. However, I do attend other social activities. I'm definitely not up for scalping tix to Spoon. I fear I am falling under the weather. I hope your trip goes well & you have safe travels. Tentative plans for Spoon tomorrow. My buddy wants to go. I'm leary about all of the openers that are scheduled and being out that late on a work night (i'm old, thank you). I speak enough Spanish that I have a minute understanding, but I only been exposed to Tagalog enough to recognize words (oo, hindi)and common letter combinations. I'm really intrigued by other languages, though. I've been meaning to learn Portuguese and Japanese for a while. There has been no progress on these goals at the present. Jose Gonzalez was on Conan last night. Seemed like a good omen!
