Hey man, the other day after doing a bit of research I realized that Isole was formerly Forlorn right? Man, that's so weird. I remember finding Forlorn YEARS ago on mp3.com when I was getting into underground metal, specifically doom rock/metal. I've been on a kick on stuff I discovered years ago, redirecting some attention to those lost gems.

Albany has its strong points and its weak points. It really depends on what you're looking for. In terms of music, not many decent record stores, nor decent venues for shows (no one comes here anyway) but there are some interesting things in an around the city. Though I admit I'm not really city folk, so I try to stay out of the city as much as possible. What I like about this region is that its situated right between the Catskill Mountains (to the south) and the Adirondacks (to the north). Lots of decent natural places to escape to.
