I highly suggest checking those out. I'm currently on a progressive rock kick. Mainly 70s stuff. And some late 60s/70s psychedelic rock and proto-metal type stuff.

I don't go to any metal forums. I frequent a music forum, but its just general music. As for Johnny Cash, his more well known albums.. At Folsom Prison, San Quintin namely, are his best imo. That being said, I really like some of Cashs' later albums out of the American series. Its very different from a young Cash, and some of the most depressing music I've ever heard at times. I love that about it though. I love dark depressive music.

Yeah I am the same way falling into one particular genre for a while. I love the East coast scene a lot more than I ever have West coast, and as criminal as this might be I always have though Pac was overrated and much prefer the East coast guys over him. As for Johnny Cash I completely understand how you can get wrapped up in his HUGE discography. You don't realize how much music recorded into his life until you get really into and its a vast catalog. As for ODB, still my favorite rapper, and probably always will be. That style is just so original. And unconventional, yet works so well imo. I understand he's not for everyone but I love him. Specifically the first album, not so much as the second.

Finished highschool, in two bands, just recorded an EP and have been playing a shitload of shows. Starting a job like today saving up for gear and going on tour soon hopefully. after listening to it fully, I can say it kicks ass. Most comparable to Heartwork, but a little harder imo

Pretty good for the most part. "Chopped in Half" was kinda lame, unfortunately. It was like a third of the speed, and after the intro, the instrumental part was just completely different. Which sucks, cuz that guitar lead towards the end is tasty.
