Haha, I think that reaction sums up every pre-release overhyped record. Then again, Animal Collective and Grizzly Bear's hype ended up well deserved, so who knows. I did see Beach House live when they supported Fleet Foxes at Whelan's last year. I wasn't *that* impressed. It was just two of them afterall. I'm willing to give em another chance though.

If you're referring to the time Radiohead changed their name from On A Friday to Radiohead before they released the Pop Is Dead EP for EMI, then you have a point. If, however, you were referring to Radiohead's tendency to change their sound from album to album, you will find that they retained the same name throughout their recording career and your point will thus be null. Pfff... TV stars.
