True, the setlists aren't too bad, but $80 was just too much for a set of anything other than Origins of Symmetry front to back and then the hits like Reading/Leeds 2011. I just couldn't get the idea of that set out of my mind, I must of pulled up floor ten times throughout the day before it sold out. Ah well.

Also what do you think about the new Muse album? A bunch of my friends love it, but the idea of them pulling the majority of their set from it for this tour made me skip getting a ticket. Plus $80 was just too much for me.

Paul is definitely number one on my wishlist. I would also love to make it out to Austin for SXSW, FFF, or ACL. I just don't like how all of those fests are during school. :/

He was fantastic. A bit too much of his solo stuff for my liking, but I guess that's to be expected! Probably the funniest show I've been to, he loves to curl up into a ball on stage. How have you been man?

Maybe "hate" is a strong word, but I did not enjoy YHF. Cloud Nothings are fucking awesome, and I liked Queens of the Stone Age. Okkervil River and Deerhunter were alright to good.

If nothing else, there's Ghostland Observatory playing Dallas. If I weren't in CT for my sister's wedding New Year's Eve, or going to see the Lips had it not been for the aforementiond activity, Ghostland would totally be my choice. I've heard their light show is something to behold. Which should make for quite the New Year's party. I am planning on seeing them with a friend from OKC up in Tulsa in February or so when they play up there.

Titus Andronicus was by far the best band of all of them. Lightning Bolt, The Tallest Man on Earth, Big Boi, Pavement, and LCD Soundsystem were also fantastic. LCD Soundsystem's setlist could have been a lot better, but no complaints, I was 2nd row and it was amazing.
