Interesting that you think Broadcast sound like Blonde Redhead, I don't hear it much myself. Maybe like 23-era BR? I just hear a lot of Stereolab with some extra twee/60s-girl-group poppiness. I'm sure BR have listened to their fair share of Stereolab too though. And yeah, a lot of those Crystal Castles songs are still pretty incredible 8 years later. I'm not too surprised they called it quits though, neither of them seem like super stable people. /understatement

i feel the same way, i have finally accepted the fact that dengler is not coming back. i do bike, mostly to & from work. as for rides, i like riding in eastla/boyle hts as well as lincoln hts. i ride alone, and in empty (residential) streets. how about you?
