you are in the 7th level of tablet hell for sure -- I just bought a new PC last week - moving my iTunes library of over 31,000 songs is downright terrifying!! I stuck with Windows 7 -- tried and true!

We've lost Jimmy (http://www.last.fm/user/jcjohnson63)... they've killed the radio fans. Those bastards.

I established a free Pandora account one night when last.fm was offline. (Back then, I wasn't too interested in new music/artists, preferring to "generate noise" for Hawaii musicians as I tried on MOG.) These days, I'm a tad more open to Alternate musicians with wicked senses of humor. This began on the "I Still Buy CDs" group, where "kae-chan" played many "outside the mainstream" artists, some with an interesting vibe. (I don't speak/read Japanese, so it was all about the music from Visual Kei to Japan Metal groups.;) And now for something completely different: In the Pandora world, creating an Artist radio station sets up links to similar artists, which can be interesting. Trying to find a specific artist can be daunting, starting at posts fans have left and "going down the rabbit hole" in search of favorite artists/composers/songs in branches that lead everywhere. (I forgot to make a Classical Music radio station, but John Williams radio eventually led to "the three B's.";)

LAST.FM USER FEEDBACK on "New" Site Launch: TITLE: Poor; Seemingly Last.fm is progressively developing backward in what I presume to be an attempt to stay revelant and competitive with other music sites that are primarily accessed via android systems. Over a timeline of 5 years since I first discovered Last.fm, as a Subscriber I was able to create and scrobble my own personal playlists as well those of neighbors. That feature was dumped, yet I remained a Subscriber to avoid the interruption of those infernal advertisements. Now here we are in 2015... many and most members that I know of whom are in the same 'mature' age as myself (52) have ceased to subscribe and the "Full" features of the website deteriorate for the PC user. Currently: To launch Last.fm 'new' whilst still in BETA is NOT an improvement... it's a rude imposition on the loyal members who've contributed to the success of what WAS the ONLY website of it's kind online... (continued below)

Now, in the attempt to morph into the common I'm afraid what will be suceeded is Last.fm will be just another of the generic formatted sites... and don't be too secure that you've built a user base that will comply to remain loyal, as to be just like the competitor is to provide the competitor with an upper edge... they've done it longer and are not operating in BETA. Disappointed in 2015; Bring back the magic that built the best... roll back to 2010 and recognize the success that WAS. LeRiverhawk L. Estrada New Mexico USA
