I wonder. How much of what you listen to is deliberately chosen by you? I see you listen to streaks of songs by certain artists most of the time, so it doesn't look like you put a playlist on shuffle or something like that.

Usually I will make a playlist for the day, so I can control exactly how long I'm listening for. Very often (more than I'd like to admit) I fall back on old favorites, listening to full albums I already know I enjoy. This is partly because, while I'm working, I need something that I don't have to divide much effort attention to.

That's so odd to me. It implies you're able to wake up and already know what you'll want to listen to for the rest of the day. I often struggle to know which song from The Dillinger Escape Plan I'll want to listen to in any particular moment.

Well, I will often add or remove songs from the playlist while listening to it (in between breaks from whatever I'm doing). It's not totally static, but generally I can feel what I'm in the mood for and stick with it.

Start with either One Of Us Is The Killer or Dissociation. They're pretty similar stylistically but Dissociation sounds a bit darker/grimier, as if it was mixed and mastered by Trent Reznor. But if you like either one of those, check out the other one for sure.

"I like this but I want more experimental electronics" --> Ire Works.........."I like this but I want something heavier and chunkier" --> Option Paralysis.........."I like this but I wish they took themselves less seriously" --> Miss Machine (alternatively, check out Die On Mars by the band The Calloused Daoboys).........."I hate this dude's voice" --> Calculating Infinity
