Der gestrige Abend, der mir unmissverständlich aufgezeigt hat, dass Fremdscham ein äußerst stinkendes Wässerchen sein kann, sollte - den AFOS Auftritt natürlich ausgenommen - wohl schnell vergessen werden... oder denn als Mahnmal für etwaige zukünftige Konzertbesuche in Erinnerung bleiben! Was ich allerdings auf keinen Fall vergessen werde, ist der kleine Kreis netter Menschen, die mit mir vor diesem grausamen Etablissement bis 2 Uhr ausgeharrt hat, um dann endlich den einzigen musikalischen Lichtblick dieser langen Nacht erleben zu können. In diesem Sinne: Dankeschön und bis irgend-dann.

Haaah, aye, Ahab waren’s verfluchtnochmal WERT..! Ich hätte mir ja eine noch längere Spielzeit gewünscht, ernsthaft, das war jetzt mein drittes Konzert von ihnen und jedes Mal haut mich die Intensität dieser Musik weg. Unglaublich live…apropos, wie waren Shining und Konsorten? ;D Übrigens schätze ich kreative (Zeit)Genossen sehr. Ist ja leider so, dass manche Menschen sich in ihrer Individualität ziemlich ähnlich sind. ~grinst* Ich sag‘ nur: „Wir sind alle völlig verschieden!“ – „Ich nicht.“ – „PSCHT!“ Danke für deinen Hinweis, dass Apocalyptica im März quasi direkt vor meiner Haustüre ein Konzert geben, habe ich am selben Nachmittag herausgefunden…da hatte ich aber die Karte für Köln natürlich schon längst gekauft. ^^ Es hat sich dennoch gelohnt, so weit zu fahren, der Auftritt war apokalyptisch GENIAL! Ich geh natürlich trotzdem auch nach Neu-Isenburg...jetzt erst recht.

Hell yeah, Mar de Grises sind noch der doomige Zuckerbrocken (Zuckerstückchen passt hier nicht ;D) bei diesem absolut geilen Konzert - ich freu' mich schon drauf, seit ich es entdeckt habe. Aber zu dem Zeitpunkt, als ich den Shout bei diesem Event verfasste, waren Mar de Grises noch nicht dabei aufgelistet, soweit ich mich entsinnen kann...hey, ich sehe, du gehst morgen auch zu Ahab (also beziehungsweise, ICH geh wegen Ahab ins Nachtleben, und sehe, dass du auch dort sein wirst ^^). Wird eine nette Woche, was?

The nile song is a great song ,pure hard rock. That dude's comments are not without merit, Queen has some great songs that many people have never listened to. Just dont compare them to the Beatles!

Just getting into the old stuff, Dudes...rediscovering the roots, man...

After my second listen I was able to appreciate it a lot more, and many other things stood out, this time around.

After my Initial I too thought it was darker than the Corpse of Rebirth. Besides that nothing else really jumped out for me. I will definitely give it another listen shortly.

Well, you are listening to a lot of black metal so I think you should understand that this is mostly an emotional thing. I know we need the sun to live our psychical lives here on Earth. However, I think the 'worship' and praise of sunlight is overrated. Especially here in Scandinavia. If they don't like the dark, the fresh air, the rain and the winters, they can move somewhere else, but don't they don't. However, as important as the sun is, I emotionally/spiritually belong somewhere else. Often I feel quite uncomfortable in direct sunlight and I think so many people focus on summer and all it's pleasures so they don't have to deal with their own issues... and I am a night-person, but sure, I need some kind of balance as well. "I hate the sun" is more of a revolutionary statement for me.

I have indeed heard it. It's a lot more aggressive than I was expecting. The classic sections have been stripped down, which a lot of people are seemingly disappointed over. I think it's a grower. It'll take time to adjust to it and I don't think its as good as the debut, but I do like it. Oh, what's wrong with the shirt?
