me too (vampire weekend).. i am kind of obsessed with 'giving up the gun.' i also really like the new spoon (even though they are the most boring band live) and the new album leaf (finally listened to it). i also really like the new los campesinos! & yeasayer. if you're looking for a good americana album, wait for the new hold steady (i think it's coming out this spring). do you like the hold steady?

Well, I listen to him alot, but most of the plays recorded here on last.fm is from a week when I went out of town and forgot to turn of iTunes ;)

Well, there are quite a lot of good norwegian bands. Motorpsycho, Poor Rich Ones and Midnight Choir were all great, but have all (except Motorpsycho) split up. From the bands that still exist i'd recommend Serena Maneesh, I Was A King, Rumble In Rhodos and Saint Thomas. I hope you find something you like there. Enjoy.
