Haha, we do have a lot of the same tastes. Actress? Probably would start with Huerco S., Laruel Halo, Jon Hopkins, Phon.O, Regis, and Darkside. If those don't tickle your fancy I can probably find something, that's just the surface.

u know i be chillin bruh bruh siq charts btw

hey thanks heaps man, appreciate it! i'm up for that.

It's slowly happening bretha. wait a few more years ladm8

Well HANL isn't black metal at all but Deafheaven definitely is. All the bands from Deafheaven are black metal in some way though. You might be especially interested in Blackgaze

Nice tunes bruh, im reccin Cyne, The Constructus Corporation, Miyavi (one of the sickest bass players of all time), Queen Adreena and Edan. If you got some good canadian hip hop or trip hop please please rec - I loved the first Esthero album.

Likewise man, thanks! For stuff like HANL check out Giles Corey, Planning for Burial, Airs, and maybe Wreck and Reference and for Deafheaven check out Liturgy, Altar of Plagues, Alcest and Lantlos. But if you want something inbetween definitely check out Whirr, they're my favorite shoegaze band and they used to share a member with Deafheaven.

goddamn i love this. i remember hearing this on his prerecorded set in boiler room LA
