Large Pro and Mega made to my knowledge the second best rap album that's 30 to 40 minutes in length (Illmatic #1). Mega's always been a perfect rapper who never wastes a verse. The energetic mad science of LP's beatz infuses life for those who say Mega flows blandly. Mega goes off though! He uses complex multi-syllables and rhymes fast on some tracks, so he puts to bed the "boring flow" shit. Large Pro's probably the best producer in Hip Hop today, if not def my favorite ever. I give it 4.75 Mics, best rap album since Below The Heavens. The Com LP I have downloaded but haven't bumped yet.

I give up,I'm turning in my Hip-Hop Fan card that I've been thumbing, pondering, hoping, since 07 i'd never have to turn it in and revoke my allegiance to this rap shit. But it's done, the radio,mtv/bet,the "CULTURE", is just , heartbreaking.Ironic I reject rap and rappers when Hip-Hop is the worlds Number One music, has been, for over a decade now,but 2011,at it's influential highest,I throw in the towel.Rap will never die like disco, but it's done.Jay-Z sucks since that black album endin',Nas drops every 3 years and cant make a hit,Em fell off,OutKast are absent as a group,Dre's Detox is a myth, fuck this shit.last album i cared about jeezy tm103 was sposed to drop 2 years ago.I'm done. It's subterranean time,Underground Hip-Hop that always was, and will be a safe bomb-shelter from the horrid surface level of things.Hopefully I can apply for a new fan card one day (Year) when Hip-Hop is rejuvenated and out of it's paralytic coma. It's not dead, but poisoned and asleep.

Oh wow!! You have very diverse taste too. There's nothing I dislike more than getting stuck being only able to like one type of music. I have tons of friends who don't branch out from whatever they like. I have a friend who listens to strictly 80s glam rock and many others that refuse to listen to anything other than hip hop and R&B. So I guess my playlist reflects how I feel. LMAO

a, i gotta couple comments/questions/concerns about some things, so I'll get to the question asking. Is "Jigga, Jigga, That Nigga Jigga" still your favorite rapper of all time? And is The Blueprint still your favorite album of all time, and if so how do you feel personally about the following words, "rap on steroids" from Lyrical Exercise. Jay=The Barry Bonds of rap, the most hits with a bit of cheating to help one become the all-time ranking great. I think a Blueprint new age review in light of its 10th anniversary would be a necessary event.

The Professional Leisure Tour was great, a nice sampler before their 3rd LP would drop, I been hearin "Flickin" and was amped for the album. Land Of Make Believe, was nice. Even though the fuckin cover creeps me out, Double-O with long hair? I think The In Crowd was a tad better though, TPLTour and LOMBelieve are almost identical, some same songs. LOMB still top 5 of '010. A 4 mic, 4.5 in a year or so. Curren$y-Smokee Robinsons prolly my 3rd fave tape of the year, behind the obvious Royce and Raekwon Vatican 4. and random, TM 103 may snag Big Boi's slot for LP of the year, "Lose My Mind" best single I've heard i think this year.

Tee hee! Happy New Year! How are u? I haven't heard Kat McPhee's first album... but it probably is a departure from second one. Her current album is good. It's a bit boring, but she has a great voice!

I like Empire State of Mind II as well, but I kind of prefer the version with Jay-Z.
